Is a 10 year girl is matured enough to decide what is good or bad for her

Sir now new generation child is very intelligent and they know all. In one side police is also right because but in the eyes of parents she will innocent or may be she fear from the angry of parents so she take this step. Now TV is very danger and everyone is doing this type of activity only due to TV

What I'm curious is this, what is/are the reason for her to do that? Was she home by herself?

I guess the maturity of any person as to Age is not a great factor to be considered as " matured enough to decide for himself" Why? because the fact is , there are also several adult age persons, who are easy to decide but not " matured enough" to know what is good or bad for himself.. Maturity goes with the kind of environment the person has, the family, the education, especially the experiences and social exposures that tends to affect him greatly. Example, if this child is exposed to such visual activities that she might think is for fun and turned out fatal in the end.. There are some instances that when a child was exposed to a mature environment, the possibility he can be advance mature but does not mean he can decide what is a beneficial good or not for him, this topic what you have shared is a conflict between a social environment, exposure against moral values that only implies how greater effect to a child be exposed to an environment that is not bounded by proper guidance, needing good education or even if from family related causes that seeks so much emotional attachment on her lost cycle rather than her family.. Very sorry for her.. thanks for sharing this topic. Very shocking to know that she wanted to end her life same as when her bicycle was lost.. may this serve as a warning to parental families , that a child really needs proper guidance, time and affection for them, to be guided and be a concerning citizen not a distracting citizen that tend to be copied by other innocent people just to make way for themselves even in most unbelievable but true times of their lives.

I don't think that a child can know about the consequences of their acts, so they shouldn't be trated like adults. In the case of a young like 16,17,18 is different because they have to more a little more experience and can reasoning more than a child 10 years old. I think that with that girl needs is help. By the way is cycle the period???

I don't think a 10 year old is old enough to undenstand that killing themselves isn't good and they shouldn't be put in jail but see someone about there problems becAuse something has happened to her that she needs to talk about.
