Review Stream Problems?????

A few weeks back, I began a discussion about sites that pay to reviews. More than one mylotter suggested Review Stream. I wrote and submitted something to them and never heard back. I have been busy doing other things and never thought anything more about it.
Well, today I searched my own name as I sometimes do. And my review for Review Stream is on the web. They published my review. I thought "well, great. How much have I made?"
I went to Review Stream and found that I could not access the home page. I get links but when I click on, I only get a page that allows me to search for authors or reviews. Nothing more. I can not access their home page so I can not check my account.
I know that many mylotters write for Review Stream. Are you able to access the home page and your account?

I've never heard of Review Stream, but I would try to find some way to contact them, and ask them what the hell's going on. I would suggest you go to sites such as Absolute Write, and check the forums for sites like Review Stream that don't pay their writers. There are scam sites out there, and you have to be careful. Good luck.

Thanks for your response. Review Stream is a site that supposedly pays you to review anything. I say supposedly because some writers have had bad experiences on Review Stream. But other writers have had success.
I tried my hand at writing a review and was successful. I got paid $1.50 for my review but you don't get your money until you earn something like $25.00.
I went back to Review Stream after posting my discussion. My discussion was actually my own mistake. The home page is very simple or basic. You can submit a new review or check your earnings. It is not a very welcoming home page and I did not even recognize it as a home page.
I am going to check out Absolute Write.

You'll like Absolute Write. Their Forum (watercooler) has people looking for writers, it's in one of the subcategories. I got a lead on a job for game writers. It doesn't pay much (ten dollars), but it's a heck of a lot more than this Review Stream. They have all genres of fiction and nonfiction, even one for greeting card writers. They're nice people.
