Yeserday was the 48th anniversary of President John Kennedy's assasination. I was only a year and a half when it happened so I learned about it when I got older. The United States seemed to be lost after Kennedy was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald was then killed by club owner Jack Ruby. Since Kenndy's assasination so many conspiracies have been come about. I even have a friend who is into a Kennedy conspiracy! He even seen the movie JFK countless times! Was there a conspiracy? I really don't know. All I do know is November 22,1963 is a very importnat date in history and never will be forgottan.

I wasn't born until 4 years After They killed Kennedy and yes I said They! I believe the killing of JFK was the first huge break between the public and the government. The government thought if they made up this fairy tale about a magic bullet and a lone assassin that All of the people would believe them. Well just because there wasn't a riot calling for Johnson's hide Does not mean they believed it! And ever since then , many do not believe Anything the government says.It was the lost of innocence. I know By the time Watergate came along , many just tuned politics out.But the murderers got what they wanted, the Vietnam war. But they lost the country. And now these days the liars, politicians have to spend so much money to get one fourth of the voters to like them. Yes one fourth because only half of us vote. And I do believe all of this apathy started on Nov 23rd 1963, the day after they killed JFK.

As soon as Johnson took over as president we went into Viet Nam full froce. It was a war we never should of been in and we have paid for it for years! I do vote and have since I was 18. I do beleive I the right to vote! I know most politions are liars and can't be trusted. I have felt about that a long time! I have a brother who has never voted and never will! I can understand that. The thing is if no one voted we would not be able to chose who is elected? Good or bad! Things sure did change when Kennedy was shot!

I don't vote because in my state that is the way they pick people for jury duty. I don't think voting for either liar group will make a difference anymore. Back in the 60's , it Did matter. Voting the correct way did change America. Now there are two Americas. The one the liars Think they are ruling over and the real America. The moment I realized that Anything Any of us need can be bought legally Or illegally I stopped getting so upset about the liars. Let's face it, They are so busy trying to one up the other side to get anything done.So it really doesn't matter which party or candidate you vote for, they will lie to get your vote and Really learn how to lie once in office.

Oh my gosh, I'm so old. I was in first grade when this happened. I remember getting out of school early and my parents being really upset. I have heard some of the conspiracies and to be honest, I really don't know. I think there is probably more to the story than what we know. The thing with conspiracies is that they lack proof. Look at the one with Paul McCartney...so many things pointed toward it being believable but no proof. there is no point in dwelling on these things because there is no way to know either way. Interesting to read up on but thats about it.

48years, gee that makes me feel old, it doesn't seem that long ago, it was one of those times that you just can't believe could happen, its was almost like time stood still at that time but time obviously did not, it was a very tragic time.

I remember that day very well. It was like the world stopped. I was nineteen at the time and watching a soap opera and was upset because they interrupted it with breaking news. I figured it was something like a space shot. Kennedy was our Prince Edwards. We were so interested in royalty back then. It was a very sad day. Walter Cronkite was the news anchor doing the reporting and he was in tears. I believe that Oswald acted alone just as Timothy McVeigh did in the Oklahoma bombing did.

I was just 11 years old and not allowed to watch the news on TV. I heard it on the radio before my parents came home. I was certainly not politically minded, and I'm an Aussie but still, I knew about JFK and I knew this was a very bad thing.
