Is art something merely aestethic or can it be considered as a reflection of inner feelings and emotions? I think that art is like an "eye" which allows you to view the world in ways different from reality, a way of expression of things that don't really exists.

I think that art is seeing the world with a different point of view and show it, I can see beauty where most of the people don't, so I take a picture but they don't understand,I love to see my pictures, for me are my treasures.
But most of the people don't understand don't see what I see.

I do the same with my drawings... my treasures ahah :) Most people tell me that they like 'em even when I don't really do, 'cause sometimes I just want to draw something ugly and away from my view of the world. My grandma hates them though 'cause they think they're kinda sad xD

After seeing a famous artist paintings and her life, every painting is related to her experience of life at that moment of drawing.
When she delivered her daughter, colours were bright and you could feel her dancing mood.
When she became a single mother, the colours were dark and groomy with heavy strokes.
Painting is the voice of your inner self.

Art is the expression of an inner creative erg. For me the creation of art begins with an inner vision. The rest is just expressing that vision through the creative process. There are many ways for that process to manifest, visual art, audio art, performance art, etc. Likewise, there are many tools to aid the artist with artistic manifestation, canvas and paint, paper and drawing tools, computers and computer graphic software, various musical instruments, costumes and makeup. These are just a few of the tools that can be used in nearly an infinite number of ways to create art.

In my take, Art is not just something that is surface by its imagery and visual form. However, it is a great way of relaying a message, a communication which is run by understanding and acquiring deeper knowledge on its art context. Basically a deep communication that its audience should think more and more so that they will eventually grab what the artist portray on such pieces.

Art for me is self- expression. I learned that meaning from an art school I was formerly enrolled in. It holds true, because to be honest not all art can be considered beautiful. Art isn't merely aesthetics, I believe. =) You might disagree with what the artist talks about in his paintings but if it affects the viewer in some way, still it is art because it communicates.
How to send a good message then? = First, a good visual message should catch the attention of the viewer, at the same time makes him think deeply. So that means a good art is a balance of form and content; meaning it should still be visually appealing at the same time it should have a deep message =)
I hope I was able to explain it clearly. =)

Art is an expression of the artist. The way he/she sees the world and everything in it.Also a way of communicating with others how he/she feels about anything through his/her creations.
