Can someone help? Recently I appeared for a professional exam. I studied hard late nights. Now when my exams are over I am unable to get over that habit of sleeping late and less. Thus, my entire day is heavy and really ressless. Nowadays, I am on the bed wanting to sleep but not able to.I am asleep only at the time I used to go to sleep when studying. How do I get my usual 8 hours of stressless sleep?

i think the biggest problem is you are not realx. try to realxing yourself, you can take a bath with warm water before sleeping, i think it really help you, it will make you fresh and relax. or drinking hot tea and enjoy a romantic music,it will calm yourself. dont think your problem too hard friend. it also give impact to you and your sleep also.

Your body needs time to be reset. Some people have no problem with it, others will take days for that or even years. The thing you have to do is: make a scedule what to do when. Do it all in exactly the same time. Keep the mind busy 5-4 hours before you go to bed. After that time you have to relax and do nothing. So at the moment you go to bed your mind is already in the rest-fase. If there are many thought, ideas, worries, etc that keep your mind busy while lying in your bed, write them down and say: I will look at this tomorrow. If you really can't sleep, go out for a short walk or read a nice story but don't sit behind your computer. Already the pc-light will wake up your mind again.

I think that really happens as your body clock have been used to sleeping late at night. Maybe it will go back to normal after a few weeks. Just always try to go to bed early and relax. Be sure to make yourself tired so you will get sleepy soon. Those who work hard during the day has a sound sleep at night.

Hi mysteryscorpion, Take 15 minutes to pray before bedtime. You will notice, you will have a peaceful sleep the whole night, fresh and calm the next day. It works for me. Why not try it.

Is the result out already, if not then there's nothing much you can do since you are probably just too excited to know how you did. If you want you may try eating pop corn since it was found out that pop corn actually has an effect that would make you feel sleepy and even better than drinking milk.

JTJ is right. You're probably unconsciously excited about the result of your exam. And your body has still to adjust back to your old sleeping pattern. They say warm milk is good. Try some deliberate slow breathing. It works for me.
