Do you believe we are all spiritual being or only some from certain religions?

I ask this question because a few people recently brought to my attention that many of Christians of today think themselves better somehow then other spiritual people here on Earth simply just because they are a Christian and not because they have done anything great or have experienced anything very great either within there lives. Simply because they practice that religion and that's it they are better spiritually then all others now too. Well, I must disagree with this since I have personally known many people from different religions beliefs in life and all of them are very kind and giving beautiful spirits of God too. Actually have seemed to be much less judgmental and even less of a bully then most Christians I have known within my life. I will not name any names, since all are still considered my friends today. There is a very clear and dangerous problem here though, I believe today now more than ever more people are turning away from Christian churches because of this very thing against being a more spiritual then a religious person at heart now. Thanks,A.B.

i think all the religion are same, they teach us to do good think and never teach us to do a bad thing. the different is in the people, some of them maybe think their religion are better than the other religion.

Hi, gatlingpeas this is too negative and wrong too. So sad to me that so many who all worship God and Jesus, can be so torn apart by petty little differences. You said this well too, thanks for the comment here:) A.B.

I've been in many 'houses of worship' and I've seen what you're talking about (if I'm understanding you correctly). In America, it's the christians that are called judgmental generally but that's just people I think. Once I went to a meeting with a friend was of an eastern religion, not sure what. She has an altar in her house, a little fold-out one. Shouldn't have been surprised perhaps but I was when, in the meeting of people of her religion, they made fun of christians. Just like christians do about other religions.
It's not due to someone's religious belief or relationship, it's their incorrect observance of it and their humanness. Naturally people think their way is best, that's why they stay with it. Usually the point is to SHARE something wonderful with others but so many feel the need to bash others as "too stupid to see what's REALLY true". It would be so much better to spread love than superiority.

Hi Tiaridakdyl, I know it is probably only human to be this way about our beliefs too. You said it so very well here too though better to spread with love then superiority this is exactly what I have been seeing to much of lately and very much a nasty thing not at all how I was brought up to share my beliefs so it keeps me away from church more these days so to not have to be around certain people's who are this way too much. Thanks, for your welcomed and wonderful comment here too this helps more than I could say right now to have this understanding too:) A.B.

I believe all humans have a capacity to connect to their spiritual part of themselves. In my mind, it is like saying do all people have a conscience or a heart. Yes, everyone does but some develop or inhibit this part of themselves more than others.
I think what you are asking is who is the greatest in terms of spiritual well being. For anyone willing to take the time, try reading Matthew 18 for the an answer to this question also.

Thanks Bluedoll, I will look this up too. I must sadly agree I have known some who seem to just have less conscience even heart too then others I know in life today. Yes, this is what I was asking too about our spiritual well being here and how can some just say and know that there spiritual well being is much better form some others that they themselves have never even known or met before. This seems kinda wrong or too judgmental really. Thanks,A.B.
