What was harder, to say you love someone or to say you dont love them?

I think it depends to whom I will say those words. It's easy to reject someone when he doesn't mean a thing to you but if he does, then it's a different story. I have never had a chance to say "I love you" to a guy but I have rejected someone already. Well he didn't really say love. It was "like" not "love". But I still didn't accept it because I have a valid reason for that. I know I'm so mean! I'm not saying that I easily rejected him. It was hard on my part since I also value our friendship and I wasn't ready for him and me to level up. I'm glad we're still friends and he understands me.
