Are HYIPs (High Yield Investment Plans) real? When I searched for it on the dictionary, it said straight out that it is a scam. Know any good ones that accept low investment costs?

almost all of them are scam, if they aren't they will be in time. You can invest in Velton Trust, minimum is $1, commission is 1% daily and no mature date, that means you can withdraw your deposit when ever you want.

All HYIP programs are usually a scam as they are unstable. They use funds from other investors to pay off others, and then one day they just vanish along with most of the higher investors money.
My father got hit by a few a couple years ago. Even after I searched the information online and tried showing him what they where about. He still decided to play with them.

I don't invest on HYIP sites, so, I can't recommend you one. There are a lot of them that allows you to invest $1 but finding a new site is a bit difficult. With HYIP sites, the best way to earn is to join them during their first 20 days. On average HYIP sites last for 100 days.
You may want to check on money-cyclers as an alternative. You can check JBP's JSS-Tripler. That program will earn you 150% of your investment and even more because of the added perks. Minimum investment is $10 to purchase a position or shares. That position will earn you 2% daily until you've earned a total of $15.

Never trust them. They all are scam. Some might pay but eventually you will end up losing.
