Where's the Understanding in Autistic People, Even in Dreams?

I recently dreamed about being in a city bus/school bus hybrid. We were going down a strange version of Newark, New Jersey (around the airport). I whipped out my camera and snapped a photo or two of the scenery. Well, the bus driver, who is obese and African American, shouted to me to put the camera away. I did, but asked why I couldn't take pictures.
But he ranted about something I did and I had a meltdown. That one was a screaming, flailing, crying, and kicking meltdown. I kicked the seat in front of me, but the driver accused me of kicking him. He said that I was expelled for doing that. Expelled from what? I'm above public school age! But I continued being wild and I woke up.
That's what many people with normal minds and brains view autistic ones like me when they are melting down. They think they are grown children who never outgrew their bratty tantrums. Some even call them "big brats" or worse, the r-word. Should the driver in my dream have understood my autism, he would have helped me.
I hope my account of this dream would help people open their eyes to autistics more.
