How do you take care of your skin?

I am a working mom, working for 8hours and doing all the household chores includes attending to my baby when I'm off from work. I don't know how to manage in taking care of my skin at least before I sleep I can have a little thing done even to my face but because I'm too busy I cannot make it. I hope you can give me advise on how to simple steps on how to do it.Thanks

My friend, no matter how busy you are, you have to take care of your skin, specially your face. Wash your face well before going to bed and apply moisturizer. In the morning , before you put on your pressed powder or foundation, apply sunblock. That way, you can be prevented from sunspots or blemishes. Use a soap specially formulated for the face. Those rituals will not even take you 5 minutes.

I think it is better to use medicinal soaps. I think this soaps helps our skin to get it's nutrients. So i mostly use such soaps.

Actually, wonderboy, we have to use the soap that best suits our face. If our face has pimples or acne , you have to use an anti acne soap, though it is best that you ask a dermatologist what's the best. If your face if dry, then you can use a moisturizing soap. But if your face is too oily, there's also a soap suited for such. As for me, i am using a rejuvenating soap to more or less retard the aging of my skin, since i am already matured.

Hello gaea, I can see you have an extremely packed schedule so just do what I do. While cooking whenever I chop tomatoes and/or cucumbers I simply take a minute to apply the juices of either one or both mixed with a little honey and lemon juice to my face and arms. Keep it on for some time and wash off once you finish your chores. This is the best way to remove tan and dirt from your skin. No need to take extra time out for facial. Also if you can some time off during weekends, make a fine paste of almonds, mix it with rose water (I normally use fresh rose petals), and a paste of mint leaves and refrigerate. Apply whenever you have time, thin with a little milk or water if it turns too think. I have found this mixture as the best one for me to keep my skin moist and smooth and soft, apart from it being very simple to follow.

I just use two things for my face...a facial wash and a facial cream. Its from the same brand, its called Olay. I guess my face is comfortable with those product cause I love the result. And that's just basically what I use.

hi there, the simplest thing that I can think of is washing your face with water and a mild soap or facial wash before you sleep. you don't need to put on some thing if you're face is already smooth and clear.

Hello gaea, I tried to use all sort of face creams but my face get worse condition. In the morning i wash my face with fresh water and when I come work I put moisture cream on my face and night before I go to sleep I wash my face again. Few months and my face is now better condition. :)

I will do that but during night I'm afraid of washing my face with water, I think my eyes are a bit tired too, so I may harm my eyes by washing my face. But I'm not sure if it has really an effect to eyes.

Well all skin needs nutrients like vitamin e that's the main choice but also they need a vitamin d witch you can find it under the sun. All you have to do is that you should let yourself be outside between 8-10am for the skin to be nourished. I have learned it from my zoology professor

with your schedule, it looks like you have few time to rest. i think our body needs to relax to replenish some chemicals that excrete to make our skin glowing and fresh. please allow yourself to give time for your body to reenergize. sleep is a good habit to keep ourselves afresh. if you feel you don't have enough time, try not fighting against sleepiness once it comes. let it in and let it be.

I have very sensitive skin, and it means that I can't use most of the products on it like a lot of people my age might normally do. I have always had bad skin because of the fact that everything that I put on it causes a reaction, and there's just no way that I can ever get away from that. However, I do make sure that I wash it with water a couple of times a day to try to get all the dirt off it that I might possibly have picked up during the course of the day. You should find a routine that works for you, as there isn't really any one method that would work for everybody at once.

hello, You can drink more than 8 glasses of water, I know you knew it already but you should do that everyday if you dont have time putting something in your face and skin. It is safe and really helpful. I cant recommend you anything because that is the only thing I do. alright? good luck to you!

I think applying oil to your face and whole body will help in this winter season even for 10 minutes before you to bath.And also have fresh fruits and fresh vegetables in order to keep your skin healthy from inside.

I mostly used to take care of skin by applying water. I think this makes our hand cool and helps to clear out from hotness. I think this can helps in increasing our skin color also I used to apply some medicines on my hand to get my at it's best.

It is very important to take good care of your skin. Here are the steps that I follow in the morning : I use facial gel or exfoliant (2 times a week) to wash my face. I use toner to clean up my face. I apply face cream and under eye cream. The steps that I follow at night are: I remove my make up with a special product. I use toner to clean my face. I apply a night cream to protect my face during the night time. Also I use a face mask 1 or 2 times a week to make my skin even better.If you can't afford buying one you can always make one at home and there are so many home remedies for face masks so it is really easy to find the right one for you.
