Finally my boss paid me!

I was waiting for my salary for a month from mid October to November. It has been one month plus. I called my supervisor many times but she said I will get my money soon. And today I checked in ATM it doesn't show any money yet. So I decided to go to the office with mom and mom talked it out for me. My supervisor said I did not submit my bank account page for her to proceed. So she delayed my cheque. But we talked it through and it was a misunderstanding. Hopefully there are no more cases like this.

I think the act of slowing down payment of wages deliberately could lead to incorrect perceptions and can be a problem between the company and employees. There are companies sometimes do not make payment at the exact time and the company had reasons for the delay in salary. If reason is not communicate to employees, it could trigger disputes and misunderstandings as well.

It is awful that there was that kind of misunderstanding with your paycheck. I personally think that if they thought that they did not have the correct information on file, they should have issued you a paper check so that you would have been able to have been paid in a timely manner.
However, since that didn't happen, I'm happy to hear that you were finally able to get your pay. I would certainly hope that something like this does not happen again in the future.

Hi Choi Yee,
Why it took so long for them to pay you, you should get paid before 7th of every month according to our labour law. They can be fine if they did not pay you before 7th of the month. It is also their fault if they know that you did not provide them bank account number and yet did not inform you about it. Anyway, I am happy for you that finally you got the money.

Many years ago, I work for a small company, the boss always delay to pay us.the last month I worked here, he require me to be on business on the salary payment date, I felt angry and quit, and didn't get that month salary till now. but I never regret.

Well, if your company continues to pay late. There is some problem already. This is tell tale sigh. Get another job mate.

No this company usually pays once in two month coz we are doing part time telephone interviewer job. This company has his headquarter in USA.

Wowww.............Congratulations.....
I think you hard worked in doing your job...That's the cause for worrying about getting salary....You should go to bank and ensure that this will not happen in future....I know that you will worry if the salary gets after the correct date...
My mom is like you...Any way, Continue your work...Get salary and enjoy life...
