why do you think breakfast is good for the body?

My mom use to tell me that eating in the morning is good,because it keeps you healthy and and gives you strength for the day,but sometimes i feel relunctant to eat in the morning.So why do you think breakfast is important?

Breakfast plate - I'd discard the bacon and rice.
We normally don't have the appetite to eat as we wake up. That is normal. So we don't really need to eat outright after waking up. We have to condition our body and spirit first. After an hour or two then we can eat our breakfast. Breakfast is important because it is the first meal of the day. This is when we break the fast we had during the night. After some long hours of eating our body need supplication of energy and nutrients needed for the start of day. Of course sometimes our appetite will deceive us especially if we don't have the habit of eating breakfast but in reality our whole body system needs breakfast to keep it going great. So if I were you I will make it a habit to eat breakfast. It is one secret of living healthy and wise.

It is the important meal of the day.I usually eat heavy breakfast to give me enough strength and energy for the day.If skip a heavy meal at home,due of being late at work,I make sure that I still eat heavy meal at the office.

Of course, breakfast is very important for the body. As you know that after a night of sleep, the body work two times than at the time we work. Thus, the body is very tired and exhausted. The body needs food intake. Our body need to eat and drink. I think all would say that breakfast is essential for the metabolism of the body. Thank you. B

why don't you eat the breakfast???for me,i really want to.in my country,we have diffrent choices to eat in the morning,like congee,noodle,bread and dessert and so on,they are all delicious and i can't help to eat!after 12-hours,our stomach is empty,we must fill it and it's helpful to our body

I think so....Because as your mother said, Break fast is the main food in a day....It gives me energy,to do the activities in a day...If you are an student, You should eat break fast...Otherwise, Your stomach will be empty.... So you can't to listen classes and feel like to sleep....I have experience...And I began to eat some thing before going to college...If you don't eat any thing morning, You will see like a dull mood and will be very tired...I always eat fruits at morning....

breakfast is as much important as lunch and dinner.because as said earlier we are breaking d overnight fast.we must be very careful about the quality of breakfast also i.e. is it supplying the balanced and adequate nutrients which are absorbed by our stomach during breakfast much readily as compared to other meals.also avoid taking junk food in breakfast.

Breakfast breaks the fast from the time we go to bed until the time we wake up.It is important to eat before 9AM because it fires up the metabolic engine and gives us the energy to sustain our activities for the day. Most people skip breakfast and simply drink coffee because they are in a rush. To remedy that situation, I put oatmeal in a small bowl and mix it with enough water to cover it, then put it in the microwave for 2 minutes. I take it out and add coffee, milk, cinnamon, peanuts or dry melon kernels, either brown sugar or marshmallows and bingo, I have a complete meal that energizes me and lasts me till lunchtime. If time permits, I punctuate it with an orange or banana or a slice of pineapple. If not, I take the fruit to work for my snack. God bless you, ikbtn and keep you healthy.

Since it is the first meal of the day after the 7 or 8 hour fast and it is very important to start the day with a full stomach or you might faint, feel light headed or sleepy.. Don't you feel hungry when you wake up?

Breakfast is really the most important meal during the day. It is what keeps us going as we do our work. I only have coffee, sometimes with bread for breakfast. When I am doing nothing afterwards, then it's okay, but when I do things that require energy, I easily get hungry and can't concentrate on work because I feel weak and dizzy already before breaktime. That's why I make it a point to eat breakfast. Thanks!

hello, Yeah, me too my mom keep on telling me that don't skip my meal every morning because it will start my day and yes it will give me strength so that I can think clearly in school and honestly it is true because I am not hungry when i am at school especially if there are times that I cant go outside to eat because I am not done yet doing some assignment or project in school.

What i love about the breakfast is that is the part of the day when im more hungry so the meal in the breakfast is way more tastier than in the rest of the entire day. So I always eat what you could say a very good breakfast.

Yes, and I know that breakfast is so important. for I can personally tell you I used to have breakfast. You are right but his mother breakfast is very important to allow your body to feel good to be in shape. so if you Eat breakfast I have this habit but if you can Eat. nice day!

There's a saying that, it's better not to eat lunch, if you just eat your breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because you have gone to sleep and you need to have food to refuel your energy for the day. It's okay to skip lunch and dinner, not breakfast.

Breakfast is important because its starter fuel for your digestive system. When you lay down your digestive system slows down. When you get up and start moving around your body is able to release waste. My experience is breakfast digest quicker than other meals.
