Which do you prefer? Writing or reading? I think I can express more whenever I write, and but there are also many things that I can learn whenever I read. But I prefer to write.

It is really hard for me to decide which of these I like the most. I have loved to both read and write since I was a little girl. I like to read because during the time that I spend reading I'm able to escape from reality for just a little while. However, I like to write a lot as well because I know that people will read what I write and it is also one of the creative ways in which I'm able to express myself. For me, I don't think that one or the other of them is really my favorite.

With me I think it depends on the day and how my mood is. Some days I prefer to read and learn. Other days I feel I must write to share or express myself.

I enjoy both reading and writing, to be perfectly honest. Reading and writing have been things that I've enjoyed doing ever since I was a kid. I find them relaxing and enjoyable to do.

I used to write a lot both for business and leisure. But after retirement several years ago, I am left only a reader. Writing kindles our thought and improves expressing our ideas and feeling. And reading extends our knowledge and enhances our understanding, which in turn helps improve our behavior and performance.

I love reading but very slightly I prefer to write. I can write with a pen or type using the keyboard on my laptop. I adore to write a diary when I go off traveling and I made my around the world trip adventures into a hand written book with cut out pictures. I enjoy writing stories and writing lists of things to do. I am keen on reading novels and non-fiction books about my interests like travel, homes, gardens, crystals and animals.

Hello roger_nautilus, You know from the very start I love reading. I have a collection of books even when I was still in Elementary. I would collect the books for teenager and until I was college I love reading. But when internet comes in and I learned about mylot, I started to write more than to read. So now, I like reading, as you said we can express our feelings when we write. It's good to know that people are reading our thoughts and that sometimes they have like mind with me. But of course, with mylot I read a lot too. So its like hitting two birds with one stone. Happy mylotting red_amethyst
