I heard a lot a about Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The retailers offer various promotional sales to kick off the shopping season before Christmas. Are you a potential shopper during this festive promotions? Here, we have similar seasons when the sales reach zenith within a span of a few days before the prime festivals. Everyone would buy according to his means. I love the shopping zeal more than anything else. People are so happy and high - nothing can beat the spirit. Cyper shopping however, hasn't reached that high here yet. I am sure that has made your buying experience easier and faster. Pls share your story and happy shopping!

We have a Wednesday Bazaar here in Big Bazaar that is every wednesday throughout the year. I do not go there on that particular day only because of the rush. I do not go for these promotions much because then we end up buying a lot of stuff that we do not need.

As you have said, we have similar seasons here when the shopping activity reaches its peak during the festivals. From the little that I know, the shopping activity on the Black Friday in the US hits the ceiling and that has to do with the holiday spirit and the huge discounts and special deals available. Being able to do a lot of this online makes a huge difference. I guess once we get to those levels here , I just might find myself going beserk as well.

We do not go shopping on these days. It is just too much traffic and way to many people in the stores. I would rather be able to enjoy my shopping than trying to rush to get something I want. For some this is a fun time, for us we would not enjoy it at all. Have a nice time.

No I won't be shopping on either days. However, my mother-in-law is down in the States with a friend of hers for Black Friday. It's something that they've been doing for the last couple of years.

I am not a shopper. Period. I buy groceries as I need them and my meds and pay my bills. But I buy little else and only when it´s needed. I make my Christmas presents and recycle wrappings and ribbons to wraop the jars (recycled) of homemade jams, jellies and chutneys I make for my friends and families. I only buy a little something to the small children and I also give them Christmas cookies or cupcakes. I think this Christmas it will be cupcakes.. I travel with the money I can save. All my online earnings go towards that goal

Of course, who leaves such an opportunity? :D I'm definitely going out shopping, but I think it will be more like hanging out with my friends because the stores are really crowded on such sales and mostly we get late and can't get the desired product. Anyways, it will at least be fun hanging out with friends on such an occasion. :D
