Once again bhajji made a statement that he will surely return to aussie tour... Ashwin might have laughed reading that and went on making a ferocious century shutting doors on bhajji face...
Once again ojha took 2 wickets to ensure the statement made by bhajji is wrong
its seen harbhajan started taking many Mc Dowells
Now question arises
1) Bhajji lost his charm & game
2) with srikanth in selection panel chennai ashwin will never look back
3) Is it end of bhajji career ?

Yes, it looks as if this is the beginning of the end for Bhajji and Yuvi too. Ashwin may have missed out a few test matches even though he was performing better than the feisty sardar but he kept his cool and with Ojha performing well too The two have firmly shut the door on the Sardar. And who can forget that World cup final when Bhajji played ahead of Ashwin and luckily for India it did not cost us the world cup final. But now the Sardar stands exposed as he is unable to pick up wickets in the Ranji trophy matches. And India have to look beyond Dravid, Sachin and VVS but they have to phase out these stalwarts gradually and it would be nice to see Rohit and Kohli playing in the first test against Australia and one of the three veterans should be rested. I wish Pujara had been fit enough to take his place in the test side. It was heartening to see three Indian fast bowlers bowling at speeds in excess of 140kmph consistently and taking wickets too. I think India is ready to wrest the top test spot from England again.

I very much agree with you that Rohit must have been played in this present test.Yes, it is a sad fact, that it is the end of the road for Yuvi, in tests. But Yuvi will be a star as far as one day is concerned.
At the end of the England series, I also felt, that India may not fare well in the future, but the young players, have proved me wrong, and I feel now, that the young players like Varun aroon, Umesh Yadav, and others will hold the Indian flag high.

Youth will come good and youth knows no fear. Its amazing to see the young talent available in the sub-continent but the paid contract system where the players get a seasonal contract has benefited them financially but it is becoming difficult for the new player to come through, if you see Ashwin he should have played test matches at least a couple of seasons ago. Now it looks like a corporate scenario where nepotism, favoritism is sure to take root and flourish. You saw in England how a sick and unfit Sehwag was called up and RP Singh's performance was embarrassing, to say the least.
Sport should always be about talent and performance and sports persons should be given good jobs but a guaranteed contract has its downside too. Decreased performance and unfit and greedy players. Zaheer is another embarrassing example.

I am sure that Bhajji would make a comeback. The key is that both Ojha and Ashwin are performing very well. Today, they bowled West Indies out for 134. Ojha took 6 wickets which Ashwin took 4 wickets. But still I think Bhajji would make a comeback to the Indian team.
Cheers!

Its official now and both Ojha and Ashwin have firmly closed the door on the non-performing Sardar. The Team to Australia has been announced and Bhajji does not figure in the team list. Harsha Bhogle's prediction was correct and it is a seventeen member team and Zahir's inclusion is subject to proving his match fitness.
Bhajji shouls not have played ahead of Ashwin in the world cup but Ashwin swallowed that unfair treatment and kept improving his performance and has picked 22 wickets in the current test series and is solid lower order batsman too.

I do think for atleast 2 years he will be not be able to do a comeback in the side.
Reasons -
1. he left his team in England by faking his injury, when his team needed him the most.
2. Just before the one-day series completion he announced that he is fit to play any form of cricket.
3. He prioritized t20 i.e champions league more than playing for his country. This is the common mistake which many players(pathan brothers) in india are doing, thus ruined their career.
4. He doesn't regret these mistakes he did.
