I bought a treadmill today.

The weather is getting colder each day as winter gets closer. When the weather is favorable, I used to go out to the park in the evenings after I get back home from work, and go jogging. Jogging is my favorite way of exercizing, very refreshing and relaxing. These days, however, with the weather getting cold, I cannot go out jogging. So, I bought a treadmill today. I just have to exercize on the treadmill. What is your favorite way of exercising as the weather changes ?

I am exercising on the treadmill every day for 10 minutes. We aren't having winter but the rainy season is one that stop my outdoor activities.

Hello Zandi. I do exercize on the treadmill every day too, every evening after I get back home from work. Yup, just like you, 10 to 15 minutes. That makes me feel refreshed and relaxed.

In the warmer months I love to power walk around my neighborhood & a nearby park, but like you I hate the cold weather. Last year my husband bought me a used treadmill and I would workout on it three times a week, but then then it would just power off for no reason. My husband says it needs a new motor so we are waiting till we can afford to buy a new one.

Three times a week. That is very good. You are doing very well. In fact, even once a week is very helpful to maintain good health. I get on to the treadmill every evening, just for a few minutes on the weekdays, and a bit longer over the weekend.

treadmills are good so long as you stick with it, I had one but lost interest with it and I have friends who have all had one but they too lost interest, stick with it and it will be all worth it.

Thank you for the advice. I do intend to stick with it, atleast during the course of the winter any way. I need to have exercize regularly to be relieved of the stresses of the day, physical and mental.

Hello Sarah. How are you ? Yes, I am enjoying my treadmill. Of course, I still miss the fresh air and the refreshing environment of going jogging in the park. With the weather getting so called, treadmill is the good choice for me !

I wish you can have a treadmill at home soon too. You can enjoy walking on it any time you feel like it. That is really very relaxing and refreshing, even walking for a few minutes a day.

Congratulations on your investment and I hope it serves it's purpose and more! When the weather gets cold, I still enjoy jogging outside but I don't really do too much running asnlosingnweight is not my goal! I still vomitus to lift weights during the chilly season, because I want to gain weight and muscle mass. I do feel that jogging outside when it's rather cold outside is harder because for some reason my chest hurts more, and my mouth becomes significantly dry, but I don't need a treadmill! If anything, i wish I could buy a better home gym, but I need more online earnings first!

That's a great alternative to jogging! I am impressed with your determination to work out..I am so lazy in the winter season that I find it difficult to wake up even at 8 am!!!

Thank you very much. Yes, I need to have an exercise after I get back home from the long stressful day at work. Treadmill is a choice for that at home regularly. I am very much enjoying it these days.

You don't use it any more ? Oh ! Well, since it is in the house, you can get on to it any time you feel like it. It is a good way for exercize, very relaxing and refreshing. Getting lazy ? Oh !!

I jog on the spot in my house to burn calories when it's too cold to run outside, but I will admit that I wish that I had a treadmill to be able to run on, as I would be able to keep track of how many calories I was burning much more easily that way. I have lost a lot of weight recently, and have managed to keep it off as well for the past twelve months. I hope that I will be able to lose even more, and would really like to be able to purchase some exercise equipment as it means that I would be able to exercise at home a lot easier than I can do at the moment.

Yes, having a treadmill at home really is very helpful to do exercize regularly. That's the reason why I decided to have one, so that I would not miss exercizing even when the weather does not permit going outside.

I have been wishing that I could have a treadmill but I could not afford it this time. That's really a nice way of exercise. I had a treadmill test once at the hospital and I found it great because I easily sweated.

Yes, walking on the treadmill is very relaxing. Oh, I am sure you can have a treadmill some day. You can then do the exercize any time of the day when you feel like it. I am enjoying my treadmill these days !

AS the weather cools and gets rainy, I still prefer to do my photo walks when I can. When I can't, my favorite exercise is giving my fingers a workout on the computer keyboard. This has the added function of exercising my brain. And I do run up and down the stairs a few times to get more tea or something to snack on.
