Yeah, its really interesting to experience and see it first hand. I saw some clips on TV showing rock formations inside the cave, and he cave is passable, which is rare to most caves. Well,as soon as I get there personally, I can give details and pics as well. Or maybe if you get there first, you can share here. :)

This indeed makes me proud to be a Filipino. I have never been there. I would love to get there. Indulge myself in what this amazing country has to offer and what we can give back to nurture it. :)

So am I. Another reason to place our country on the map. Wish we can all visit it and promote the beauty of nature like this Underground River.

This is an additional credit in our country. HOW beautiful our tourist places are. However, funny to say but even US really cannot experience those leisure for reasons that, since it is known, it will be more expensive with many taxes instead they give a good benefit for the residence of the country to have less expenses while visiting that tourist place.Second, is the safety to travel. Our country has many scenic spots that can be preserved, however, the funny side also of this is, most were known by some foreigners who have searched for that place and give importance thru investments in those scenic spots, example the BORACAY island, clark, etc.. This is a good point to raise.I know the people behind the tourism department are making necessary actions to address such issues. Moreover, to attract more tourists like US people, its us Filipinos especially the locals to certain scenic spots, make an extra effort to make them feel welcome and safe. Regarding the taxes matter, I guess that's where business side of it comes.

hello, I have never been to the underground river but I sent several text votes as well as an internet vote during the finals because I understand fully well how it would benefit the economy of our country. I hope authorities down there would be able to handle the influx of people both local and foreign so we give a good and lasting impression so we could sustain what we started, hope they also maintain the environment before it was exposed globally. Good luck on your planned vacation, that's good that you spend your money in our own country instead of elsewhere and don't forget to post your experience and let us all know here at Mylot, God bless

Finally, the one of the new seven wonders of nature is in our country! I'd love to see it's beauty from the inside but then, I don't have relatives in Palawan, only in Northern Samar, so I may not be able to go there for a lifetime.

You're right, finally we have one,its about time. We got lots of beautiful places and Underground river was fortunately picked up. I don't have relatives either anywhere near the region, but I am really planning to go there, even alone. I think it'll be more adventurous.
