..mylot discussions makes me think...

I have been in this site for quite a long time and it is always a good time when I find interesting and thought-provoking discussions. Most of the time, I try not to step into otehr people's shoes but putting myself in their shoes. And sometimes. there are the intriguing and interesting discussion that forces em to think outside the box. There are also times when I am so interested that I search the topic and learn more.
Personalty, it is good learning experience and it also makes me mindful and respectful of other people's feelings and opinions (regardless whether I agree or not). There are also times when I have to restrain myself becuase everybody has a right to their opinion, no matter the issue and circumstances that were discussions.
So any good and thought-provoking discussions, lately?

There are some mind provoking discussions here at mylot. But I find it modest enough that all reponders respond with open mind and diplomacy.
This is what I like here at myLot various discussion made of reality and made us think of various life encounters.
I am not trying to put myself in other's shoe but in order for me to fell the real sense of the discussion, I am thinking that what I am in their shoe, how would I react and handle their situations.

I also like the fact that some members have an open mind. It stimulates my brain to think more and for others to consider each others opinion. although I can also respect why some members are very strong and vocal about their own beliefs. But then., again, freedom of expression and speech.
I also like your description of mylot as everybody's slice of life. Some accounts and encounters are familiar while Hooters are not. But we learn from them anyway.
mylot always eat my time ha ha reading interesting posts. but there are those that could really raise my brows. he he@jeanneyvonne (5501)

I know what you mean, it is good to bite your tongue sometimes but you really can learn a lot of some of the discussions, I know I have learnt a lot from other peoples opinions and from what they have found on the net and yes I tend to put myself in their shoes as well so much so I have often responded to some discussions knowing full well a guideline has been crossed and it will be deleted but I felt the person concerned needed an answer, it is a very interesting place.

I guess all of us will benefit if we try to roam around this site and see what other people think. There are a lot of discussions where I benefited from without actually knowing it.

For me Mylot is a site which I look into everyday whenever I am alone and feeling bored. I enter in to the site and there are a numbers of discussions which entertain me enough. I always get some kind of knowledge from here. Then I discuss the things with my colleagues or my friends and most of them take much interest in talking about those things.
I think people here contribute a good stuff for others and it is always interesting to find something new here everytime I sign in.

I am willing to bet that Mylot is like a box of chocolate - you;ll never know what you will find! The thing that makes me stick to Mylot is that's its always interesting and there's everything for every member. You'll never get bored or run out of interests, if not, questions or answers just by reading what otehr people think about a certain subject.

Really i also have such good and thought provoking discussions and made me to change my attitude towards other members in the family. In house some harassing incidents comes then think of all of your advice. then it will decrease my tension a lot thanks to all my mylot friends.
