" Smoking can kill "

This was the note attached to a box of cigarette that I saw on the counter. A woman ahead of me purchased 10 boxes of these cigarettes, in every box there's always a Government warning " Smoking can kill" and "smoking is dangerous to your health". I may not be a smoker, but I was wondering if why are these things still sold when the government itself knows that these are bad for the consumer. Sad to say the reminder doesn't have any use at all. I don't know if that woman knows how to read the label or, just ignore it, and satisfy what their body wants. =(

These warning labels are just a show-off that the government cares about us! Neither the government wants us to take it seriously nor do we! It's just one of those useless things that the governments do.
In India, smoking in public places is also banned by law. But it's nowhere followed and the authorities don't care either. Even the government officials and the law enforcers start smoking anywhere they like to!!! I HATE SMOKERS!!

You are right.
Smoking from public places is banned but people do it in front of police without any hesitation. Still they do not take any actions. This our situation. What to do yaaar?
