Hi,derveni~ The first song popped up in my head is Rascal Flatts' Words I Couldn't Say.It's not exactly about two friends and one wants to be more than a friend but doesn't want to ruin the friendship.It's more like about a guy who is in love with a girl but he couldn't say those words and he missed her forever.It's a really beautiful song.
