Ok everyone, so here is the situation. Well, right from my childhood I have always wanted to become a doctor. Believe it or not, I tried a lot for it, I worked hard and did everything. But now, it has been 2 years since I'm applying in a medical school but haven't got any luck so far. The first time I do agree I couldn't get hold of the MCAT thingy and I was real poor, the next time I improved a lot. Really considerable but still not up to the mark. I was like, 5 percent less than what was required. Now what I want to do is to apply one more time, I'm gonna improve my grades again and write MCAT again next year. But most of the people I know, they are against my thinking. According to them, its time to move on and change my profession. But I really want to stick to it and make it happen. I'm only 18 so the age is not a problem. That is why I want to stick to it. I mean, its my dream to be a doctor. I know I've got this only one life to turn my life into reality. So what do you people think? Am I right? Isn't it worth sticking to your dream you have always been seeing since your childhood? I mean one more year wouldn't hurt anyone, will it?

my uncle is a professional doctor of orthopedics in Beijing.what i know is that he is busy all time, when my family went to beijing for fun,he always don't have time to accompany us to a dinner.
you have to pick a lot of knowledge before you become a real doctor,it'll take a lot of time to learn.but since you want to be a doctor ,good dream, good luck for you, hold on to it

I always hope that my son choose to be a doctor as a profession but he didn't choose that career path instead chose to be a geo-phycists and loving every inch of his chosen career. Doctor is a noble profession but to qualify for the entrance to study medicine is tough and only a chosen few are lucky to be admitted. Since you have a strong desire to be a doctor, half the battle is already won and the other half is for you to qualify for the entrance to the course. With patience and a little hard work, you will be on your way to materialize your dream. Good luck.
