How do you effectively check your responses?

Whats up mylot. I have noticed here that you get more earnings by responding to other peoples discussions and responding to responses from your discussions. But if you respond to a discussion and somebody responds to your response, is there an easier way to check if someone responded to your response other than checking all the discussions that you responded to and scrolling down to your response. I want to cover everything and speak to everyone that has spoken to me. Is there a better way of seeing if someone responded to your responses other than checking in your profile and then scrolling down to your part in the discussion?

Thanks alot I did have the boxes already checked but I hardly ever check my email. This is because I get so much spam there is if do check me email I usually just check the mail that im looking for at the top and just delete the whole rest of the mailbox. I have to find a better way to organize my email thanks for the responses happy holidays.

Gram: your e-mail account has to be tidied up the way I did mine two days' ago. I had so much dump in there, and most of it was either read & left alone indecisively or unread & unwanted because it was dumped in some folders due to a filter set by me. From around 920mb, I have reduced the used space to less than 1%. It looks so clean & quiet over there now.
I have also checked almost every notification option except the myLot digest. I get mails regularly but still the fact remains that you can't get the kind of notifications you are looking for. You know what I mean.

Thanks alot I just now cleaned my mailbox after I read your response. I have a few notifications from mylot that I didnt delete im about to check them out. I need to know how you set filters to stop some mail from comming in though.

You can tick the preferences -notifications--I have ticked all the boxes so that I will get notifications from mylot whenever people respond for my responses. You can also try that.

I already did thanks alot for the feedback back. I still don get alot of mail from mylot though, ima tick the boxes all over again and see if they send me more notifications to my mailbox.

This is the handicap of this site. We are not informed of any replies to our responses unless we check it on the column 'responded' to see the discussions that we have responded and scroll through our responses to see whether there are new responses. It is time consuming to check every discussion that we responded but that is how this site functions and hope admin could address the issue that alert us for any new replies.

Initially you will get notification but later you will have go to the section 'started' and 'responded' and watch the performance there. I do it all the time and I am able to keep a tab quite well.

Thats good that you can keep a good tab on your discussions like that. Its a hard thing to do ima do it, I found a few faster ways to do it in this discussion too. Thanks for the feedback have a great day.

Yes, I share your opinion. Even if Mylot allows us to have an email for every answer we receive we cannot have the e-mail full of messages. I think Mylot should find a solution by putting a window with the discussion you received an answer. Before I see an answer to a comment of mine a lot of days passed away and, sometimes, I'm not able to check all the previous discussions I commented on and I forgot interesting talks.

I know thanks for the response that the worst part forgetting interesting talks. I just checked my mail from mylot and it was now the email I was looking for. It was just a notification saying one of my past discussions got deleted which really sucks. Thanks for the feedback though good day.

I understand it is a difficult thing. I have found some small ways around it but its basically not much you can do about it.

hi gram I just go to started and the first page has the most recent and I c heck for new responses and comment back on them as I go
that way I do not get too far behing. I see no problem in going to started and I have been here for going on five years so have a lot of discussions. but if people do respond to my old ones they will be
brought up on the first page. so no its not that time consuming
to look through the started tab .I do not mind it one bit.

Yes I di understand that. The discussion started tab is easy to look trough and I have no problem responding to the ones that responded to me. I have trouble with the discussion ive responded to tab. Thanks where you have to manually check all the pages of every discussion. For the discussions started by me all I do is look at the name of the last person that responded.

Hello Gram,
Thats rght we need to comment back to the responses we get on the discussion to earn money.We are paid for what we type and not what other type.
I have all my notifications ON so i do get the mails when someone responds on my started discussion or when someone comments on my response but only notification i don't get when i comment back to someone else box and someone coment back in that box on my comment
.For that i have to check whole discussion.

I know thats what I mean. I hate having to go all the way back and find that same box it is very time consuming. One person suggested holding control and f to find the box. I thaink that will work perfect for now thanks for the feedback good day.

what I do is I checked my email always or when I'm on mylot I have my email open as well, so when somebody replied on my response I can respond back.

Hi gram,I don't have a hard time replying for the comments on the discussions i answered or i made.What i do is,every time i am online to my lot i keep my yahoo mail open,my lot is sending us notification every time there is something new in our discussions..You may also reply to the discussions thru email just keep you my lot open,it will connect you to mylot easily..
That way you wont have a hard time replying for the comments and commenting on others discussions.. :-)

Thankyou very much that is a good idea. The only thing is i dont get alot of mail from mylot and I set up my account so that I would. Ima try and set that up again but thats a great idea to keep your email open while doing mylot that saves time so you wont have to do so much scrolling down. Thanks for the advice have a great day.

thru mail is very easy. You should change your setting how do you want to recieve notification in your mylot account. I did it and now I dont have a problem checking my mylot account .
