I have heard of this and I will not do it because I like to enjoy the book. The only time I will try to speed read is if I want to get to the end of the book. Which almost 100% of the time never happens.

Yes, but i`m not talking about book, i`m talking about lessons and that i don`t have enough time to read them all and to learn them good for my exams. I think that this tehnique will be a good chance to learn more things. (To me)

I have heard about it before, and I am very interested because it will help me in my researching and writing. I really want to be able to scan pages quickly and get all the valuable information. If there is only a website that really teaches this technique I would love to learn speed reading. However, I think it is impossible to be able to comprehend what you read if you do it very fast.

I have heard of speed reading, and will sometimes do it, although not very often at all. I much rather take the time and read the book, but sometimes, when I'm reviewing something, then I might speed read a little bit.

Speed reading is great. It does take much more mental work, however it makes reading much faster. The key is not to read the words outloud in your mind. Skip that part. Scan fast understanding the important words. It takes practice. It time you can read very very fast and amaze your friends. Of course, a highly technical books would probably be very hard to do. Novels work really good.

It already exist since years. I can read very fast but not the way I saw some great speed readers do. Speed reading can be learned easily.. it's a way not to read every word, to take out the most important aspects and in the end you know what you has to know in a very short time. Just start practising and yes it does work, unless you can't read.

It`s great that it really work, because i don`t have a lot of time to learn my lessons now, because i work and study in the same time and it will be great if i i learn this speed reading. I read in some forums and sites in my country and the way they discribed it sounded really hard to do and it will cost you a lot of time to get good at it, that`s one of the reasons i didn`t beggin it when i first read about it.

Yes I have heard of speed reading I have tired it. Speed reading really helped me in exams and reading books from the library that needed to be returned the next day, studying etc the list could go on and on. Here's some tips: When you read don't say the words slowly in your head say them fast or just the keywords. Let your eye go from the next line to another

This is maybe one of my problems, when i read i say the words slow in my head just like i`m talking with someone and it`s really difficult do stop doing this i don`t know why. I tried speed reading, but very fast get disapointed from my self and that it`s not happening and i left it. So now i`m asking for some help if you can help me somehow.

I am a pretty fast reader. I would recommend starting from the second or main paragraph when reading a news story or article as there is usually a short introduction that is repeated in content.
