Yup Facebook makes a lot of changes to the site. Many changes are not appreciated by the users like the change in the photo viewer was strongly opposed by many users. I think you are talking about the new feature called timeline. But I would say this feature is really good and it makes our profile look better as compared to previous. Also now there is no limitation to see our activities. We can see our status from the day we joined facebook till today's day. We are not developer and we cant do anything to the changes made so I would say get adapted to the changes thats what is in our hands.

I don't know but FB for me have become very confusing, now even the to upload and see the pictures is different and difficult. I think that maybe if contact the administration they can help you with that.

Don't worry, you just have to learn to adapt to the changes. Otherwise, there is nothing much you can do about it.
