Writer-director Derek Jarman's untraditional vision of The Tempest -- shot on location at England's ghostly Stoneleigh Abbey -- offers a new twist on one of Shakespeare's most complex plays. Living on an enchanted island with his nubile daughter (Toyah Willcox), the magician Prospero (Heathcote Williams) conjures a storm to shipwreck his enemies. But in the end, bringing them ashore could hasten his own demise.

I normally enjoy Takes on Shakespeare work but this one was long and hard to fallow. I got lost several times during this movie and found it to be rather boring. I gave it a 2 stars. I know the language makes it a bit harder to fallow along but this one just had me clueless for allot of it.
