I was just sign out to my email and saw the ads about Jake vargas her mom fight cancer for more or less 7 years since they mention 2004 started. I really felt the pain of Jake in this situation. Although my mom is still alive. I can feel the pain a family member passed away especially if all members of the family not ready to say goodbye. http://ph.omg.yahoo.com/news/jhake-vargas%E2%80%99-mom-dies-of-colon-cancer.html

I know how it is to lose a parent. I lost both of mine back in the 90s, but neither was to cancer. I am personally fighting cancer myself so this topic does have an effect on me. I don't think anyone is ever ready to say goodbye no matter how prepared you think you are. I just hope that when it happens to anyone else that they are able to be with their loved one as I was with my mom rather than separated as happened with my dad. It is never easy, but I think it you are physically with them it is easier than if separated. Thanks for sharing!

I saw his interview and really it is painful for him. Jake Vargas lives nearby my house and he was even one of the coutillon dancer during my daughter's 7th birthday. He was so young then, and would sometimes hang out in our house. For a long time I did not see him, until I saw him in Channel 7 and Im glad that he got a good future with acting. Jake is really a good boy, was so respectful and often smile a lot. My officemates who also had patients in the same hospital where his mother was taking her treatment, told me that he is very approachable and would gamely took pictures with them. He really loves his mom very much, he often visits there everytime he is free. I know he wants to give his mom the best that he could but we never can tell what's life in store for us.
