Who of you here still drink milk? As in a glass of milk? I know that when we were still young we used to drink milk because it is very important to our growth and development. But now that we are already at a mature age, we often neglect the importance of milk. Am I right? Correct me if I'm wrong. In my own, I still drink milk. My mom doesn't forget to include in her grocery list buying a milk. I drink it every morning before going to school and sometimes in the evening every before going to sleep.

I don't drink milk anymore. But to have at least the nutrients of the milk, every morning i would put a 3 teaspoonfuls of powdered high calcium milk in my oatmeal. That way, i still get to get the benefits of milk.
In addition i take calcium supplements and eat some dairy products.

Well, my friend, it pays that i always read medical bulletins. And in addition, my gynecologist, who did my hysterectomy told me that.
Since because of my hysterectomy i had a forced menopause at a younger age, she instructed me to take calcium supplements ( 1600 mg. ) since my bones will start being fragile already. And that i should eat calcium rich foods.

I drink milk.. . I think it is much better than drinking coffee or tea.. although I don't drink it on a daily basis but if some one offers me a tea .. i prefer not to accept it and instead go for the milk.... I can drink milk raw or with sometimes flavors added to it..

I always drink milk before because my mom never fails me preparing it for me. Now, it is just sometimes. She said to me that I must the one prepare it. I must not depend so much to her. She is right. On the other hand, I drink tea. Tea is good for the body my friend.

Yes, I definitely agree with you. I still drink milk until now though I'm 28 already. But not as often as I drink while still young, because of being busy, I forget to make a milk for myself but for my little girl, I never forget it. I really make sure that she got the correct number of bottles required in a day.

I never drink milk on its own, although I used to a lot when I was a kid. Both my brother and I used to love drinking cold milk straight from the fridge. I don't drink a lot as I'm not often thirsty, but when I do, it's just a question of a few draughts of cold diluted orange cordial. Mainly I drink tea or coffee, and not because I'm thirsty. That said, on rare occasions I will drink milk as I used to, straight from the fridge, and it tastes delicious. Which begs the question...why don't I do it more often? I don't know; I guess I prefer a fruit drink.

Your mother is right my friend. Drinking milk is good to our body. When I was small, my mother never fails me to drink milk. Even if I don't like it because of the taste and smell, my mother still wants me to drink milk. I got nothing to do but to accept and drink it.

yes of course..i do still drink milk..there is even an adult milk that has all the nutrients needed for people of a specific adult age..i think it is important for us even though we are already at a mature age to still continue to drink milk because also milk has calcium that is very important for people as we age..because of our bones..we tend to develop osteoporosis so just keep on drinking milk at least 2 times a day to be healthy, strong and so for added vitamins and nutrients to our body.

I still drink milk. Even if I am in college now and far away from my home, my mom still urges me to drink it if I forget. And it does taste good. Dairies are definitely excellent food for daily life, which help build a strong body. Actually we could benefit a lot when we are growing older. Elder people would suffer from some diseases because of lack of some certain kinds of nutrients. And drinking milk would surely help prevent us from getting problems like that when we are old.

All you have stated are true my friend. I do agree to you. Milk is essential to our body. We get a lot of benefits just by drinking milk. Now I want to drink milk. It is so nice. Your mom cares about you so much that is why she wants you to drink milk as much as possible.

I drink milk everyday. I usually have a glass of milk and some cookies or a piece of cake in the mornings before I go to work. At night I usually drink a glass of milk before I go to bed. I have always liked milk. It is really good if it is very very cold.

Actually, milk is full of fat and highly processed. I am not lactose intolerant, but milk makes me sick to the stomach. There are better ways of getting the calcium that your body needs. I stopped drinking milk since a very young age and my growth and development are just fine. No, I think that the importance of milk is not neglected, but rather inflated.

I'm a milk guzzler. I would say milk drinker, but I drink so much of it that I consider myself to be a milkholic. Even as an adult, I drink a lot of milk, and I drink it all day, every day. My habit is quite expensive. At lot of people tell me that milk is for babies and children, but I just don't see why adults can't drink it. I understand most of us have some degree of lactose intolerance, so adult cannot drink as much. Then there are some like myself who consume it by the gallon and not get sick. Yes, I love milk that much, and they would have to make it a criminal offense for me to stop drinking it, but then again, I would just have to break the law.

I love the terms you have written here my friend. I can also say that you are a milk addict. Am I right? Whatever we may call it, you drink milk. Admit it. There is nothing wrong drinking milk as long as it doesn't disturb others. Just continue what you are doing my friend.

Hi cearn
It is nothing wrong in drinking milk whatever age group you belong to. I regularly drink only milk from my childhood till today with my two children and I never drink tea or coffee. Milk is very good for health, I suggest everyone to drink milk regularly atleast once in a day.

I still drink milk - sometimes. As people get older, they start to lose density in their bones, and they need plenty of calcium to prevent that from happening, so that's why I drink milk sometimes, but not often.

I agree. Milk helps us to make our bones strong because of the calcium it has. Milk on the other hand helps us in variety of ways. We must be thankful were it come. It came from our God. He created everything. I also drink milk but only sometimes whenever I like.
