Do you feel old at the sight of an ache, spasm, or pain in your body?

Today, I was helping my neighbor's finish up their Christmas lighting and by golly, it looks beautiful in the night now, thanks to my help of course!
I had done several tasks like wiring, and some of their set up, and I also did some ladder work but upon these tasks, I stumbled! I don't really remember what it was I stumbled on , but I tripped and played it off jokingly. The problem was that I was really hurt and I was comical about it but when I arrived home, I knew the problem was potentially more serious than I had expected!
I still have a very sharp pain on my left foot, primarily two of my toes, and I'm more than likely going to see a doctor about it tomorrow. The thing is, I'm still young and wild and all that other stuff, and I fear I may be aging too quickly!
With this pain, I have a very noticeable limp and it's got me feeling old and used up!
So at the sight of a sudden pain, when you pull a muscle or hurt yourself from heavy lifting, or really whatever strenuous work you endure, do you feel old when you get hurt? (I sure do, and it saddens me)
