Age to learn music

Sometimes, I ask myself what could be the age of learing music! Can I learn it at the age of forty? Then, how long it will take to tone my voice? I heard about a popular singer, who started his training at the age of 25. Thereafter he has become a famous singer. Although, there is no age limit to learn anything, but it is the concern of age and voice. Would it be correct to start it at this age?

today 01 December 2011. Searched a teacher. Good in classical singing. He has agreed to teach me at my home. Next Saturday my class will start alongwith my son. Hope for the best. I will give continue updats about my new interest and day to day growth.

I don't know whether it will be good to sit alongwith my small child and take the same lesson from the same teacher at the same time!
