My whole neighbourhood went out of power yesterday...

I was out at the time in the city, but when I got to my neighbourhood everything was so dark and lifeless, with no power at all...I think it was so magnificent, to see all those skyscrapers totally dark, and everything was so mysterious and scary in a bit.. And power was gone for quite long,like a few hours or so. This things should happen a lot more, maybe then would people go out more and socialize in the old-fashioned way.

In our neighborhood, our street would always have brownout specially at arounnd 6-8 pm. Sometimes it would go on for an hour or two but mots of the time it would be for 10 minutes. I hate it because i am unable to watch my favorite soaps on TV, which serves as our resting ways from working the whole day at our offices, if it's for an hour or two.
But yeah, when it's brownout, the neighborhood becomes so silent, with a dog or two barking .
