Bust a gut laughing

The Tower of Toilet Paper - This is what my brother-in-law saw when he walked into their bathroom.

Do you have someone in your life that you can always count on for a laugh? My brother-in-law is incredibly intelligent, witty, and is always handy to get my sister is a better mood when she is cranky. I don't know if that last part was relevant, but I think you'll find something about my brother-in-law funny. A couple of weeks ago I got an e-mail from my sister. She told me she had bought a lot of toilet paper and she didn't have room for all of it in the cabinet. So she stacked it on the back of the toilet in kind of a pyramid shape. She forgot about it until that night when her husband went into the bathroom to do his business. All of a sudden she hears, "Holy cow." (Long pause.) "O, great towering mountain of toilet paper, I bring my offering of pee to you." And then of course he did. I just laughed so hard when I read it. I can just hear him in my head saying that because he's really quick on his feet when he sees something amusing.

I've been sitting here at $9 in my account for more than a year, I think! So I guess you could say that an appearance here is rare. I've been busy with an online crafting site and I've recently gone back to work in the real world too since my husband lost his job of 10 years. Loved your post! Made me laugh and I had to let you know! :)

I would have been rolling on the floor laughing myself! Your brother-in-law sounds like a hoot! I used to have a neighbor just like that. It didn't matter what was said or what was going on, he would always say something incredibly funny on the spur of the moment. I remember once when my oldest son was trying to get me to ride his bicycle, which I hadn't been on in like 20 years. I got on it and started moving, naturally I had the front wheel going every which way as I tried to maintain my balance. My neighbor was outside and saw me, then immediately broke into the song, "Born to Be Wild". I started laughing so hard I almost fell over. I had to stop and that was it for my bicycle days.

Now that is funny! I think that my sons and daughter are very humerous and their spouses too. There is a lot of laughter when we are all together. My husband would play practical jokes on all of us and they do the same.I do hope that all is well with you. Blessings

Hi AmbiePam, That made me laugh just visualising him saying that lol. I think we all have someone like that in our lives, I can always count on my neighbour and friend Wendie to make me giggle over something. No matter how serious a discussion we are having there is always a double meaning in amongst which will make us laugh as as laughter is a good medicine it seems like you brother-in-law must help your sister a lot. huggles. Ellie :D

Now he sounds like a great man to have around the house..I will have to tell my hubby about that amusing tidbit of a story. I am sure he would get a kick out of it. lol.My husband tries so hard to be funny which his doctors tell him to never lose his sense of humor. My husband is dealing with cancer and just finished 6 weeks of radiation recently. SO having a sense of humor during that time is great although he doesn't have much of one at home where it's just us.

My boyfriend is great to make me laugh. Everyday we are laughing over something silly or something. We always find different reasons to laugh and be happy even when we are facing a difficult situation. When I need a good laugh I can really count on him.

Too funny! If that were to be in my house one of those rolls if not more would end up in the toilet by the time my 4 year old was done in there. She is forever knocking toilet paper rolls in to the toilet.

I asked my sister how she expected NOT to have some of those rolls fall into the toilet.

I've known people like that. They are a blast to be around, but I don't think I could handle being married to one, unless they also knew when to be serious. I often look at comedic actors like Robin Williams and such and wonder how they act at home and if their wives can stand them, LOL.

Robin Williams is a manic depressive high on the manic side. His first wife lasted 20 something years. She must have been a saint.

Luckily for me I do have someone that always makes me laugh and the best part is that he is my hubby. I can always count on him to brighten my day, no matter what I am going through, he always makes time for me to make me laugh. I think it's important to have someone like that in your life, someone that could a smile on your face and brighten you day, even if you are having the worst day of your life, you know that someone could make it a bit better.

LOL LOL LOL rhats really funny. could happen here as well. Once my husband who is the homemaker had also stocked up on toilet paper as it was a bargain and when I saw how much he had gotten us I said, so now we are really prepared if someone gets the runs here. We also laughed about that cause I am diabetic and my husband is not. He loves stealing my diabetic suitable sweets and gets the runs if he steals too many. So thats his immediate punishment but he wont really learn.

People who have a good sense of humor are amusing. They make a situation lighter and better. My uncle is one of them. He never fails to make us laugh by telling his experiences and he's an absolute entertainer.

LOL, sounds like your brother-in-law is quite the character. Glad to hear he is able to help change your sisters mood. I have a brother-in-law that can make me laugh just about anytime, and in the next breath he can be so very serious.

You made me smile with that, my friend. Actually, my husband always make me laugh too. Specially , when he acts like a gay. He knows that some of my friends are gay , because i keep telling him stories about them, so he would make me laugh by imitating them. I would really laugh when he does that. And in various situations too, he would make a joke out of it. Though, he has a passive face, that seems to be so problematic, but when he opens his mouth most of it, are jokes. I love him for being that!
