There is improving trend towards e books nowadays. I think reading e books doesn't give sense of the old books. What do you think about it?

Oh, I will go with the old style of books over e-books or Kindles or anything like that ANY DAY, hands down! I really dislike the idea of those. I don't own any reading devices (like a Nook or a Kindle), but they all seem like sort of a headache for me. I'd rather be able to physically carry the book in my hands than have an electronic device that really isn't necessary. *shrugs*. I have some friends who own Kindles and they adore them, but I still can't wrap my head around the idea? Call me old-fashioned!

I much prefer ebook to traditional paper books. It is much more convenient and it doesn't lessen the fun of reading at all. I am allergic to dust, so keeping lots of books with me is not an option.
You know, I bet people in the past would also prefer riding a horse cart rather than cars because cart was more romantic. But as the time went by, people would always choose convenience before other "impressions", that's why cars are popular these days.

I read a lot online, but I don't think an ebook reader can ever take the place of a real book. At least I hope they don't. There's something about the feel of a book that just isn't in a Kindle or whatever. And you can't feel or hear the pages turn unless you have a book made with paper pages!

I haven't tried the whole ereader thing. I still have a 6 foot tall 5 shelf bookcase full of books waiting for me to read them lol. Though the appeal of having tons of books in one is kind of neat. I do think though that some of the feel of books being a page turner is lost. Plus with the way electronics are, I would worry about buying a bunch of books and then the thing crashing and losing them.

I have an ereader. It is called a literati by sharper image and I use it sometimes but more for putting PDF files on it and putting recipies and stuff on it.
I dont particularly use it to read books
I just like the feel of a real book more. Yeah real books take up more space but I really really love sitting down and reading a real book feeling the pages and the way that they smell. Its just awesome.
