hi there tkarabulut,
truly indeed more money means more happiness. that is also applies here in our home. since i came back, i never had the experienced to be happy anymore because, i am not like before who always gives them if they want some money. whereas before, i do always provide them somehow in their finances so they loved me that much. but now, that love has been disappeared. and it is all because i don't have enough money to give them now. but one thing i have promised to myself, one day, they will again loved me because i will do my best to earn more money.

If anyone loves for reasons other than love itself, it is more like a business transaction. It is a trading. It is a paid emotion. I feel that all of us need to be strong at all times. As a member of the family, what is needed of me I will try my best to do. I will love people who is lovable. For people who don't care about how I feel, I feel it is difficult for us to care too much about what they think. Do my part well and that is all. No more no less. There is always light out there somewhere. I won't be a slave of love if I am in such a situation.

Hi Tkarabulut, I do not think that it is true that many poor people know how to live happily.
If they need public assistance, and they are happy about it, then something is wrong with their attitude.
Most of us are too ashamed to get public assistance if we can work for ourselves.
If they are living from paycheck to paycheck, then they have more worries than happiness.
They have to tolerate the low paying job and the bosses who bully them.
Many minimum wage workers do not dare to speak a word when their bosses scold them for nothing.
They are likely to lose their jobs if they dare to answer back.
I think many of us see things on the surface.
it does not mean that when they are smiling, that means they are happy or contented to live in such difficult financial situation.

Money is tangible (material). A piece of paper that the government stamped for approval. Thus we use it for currency. There are moments when money can make you happy. If there is a situation you need to escape from and money is the only obstacle, money would help. Paying bills on time gives me peace of mind. Shopping is fun but not necessary. Being able to help family in need is a good feeling. I believe if everything was free I would still be happy. Or I may not feel the need to buy things.

Hi tkarabulut!
YAh we need money to live and be happy to buy things you like.It brings happiness FOR A WHILE.
A main necessity! yes in buying foods, for electricty, nice house, nice car gadgets and more.
Even if you do have all these things but you still dont have a contenment and love in yourself you'll not live happy

Partly true, For me to achieve my "happiness" i need love from people i care about, and money for us to survive. Money is an essential part of my happiness, but money alone cannot bring happiness to me because i need the affection that my love ones give to me, it's also the same with Love, Love is also an essential part of my happiness, but without money i couldn't provide food and shelter.

For me, money is considered not important at all and the good news is that there is a lot of better things rather than money like love, family, self esteem and many other things. Now the bad news that non of the mentioned above can really last without money which brings back money as the most important thing in our life, but having money and being happy at the same time, your will start feeling sad while you having money when you start fearing to lose the money you have more than to enjoy it on the things we mentioned above, some researches shows that highest amount of happiness money can generate for people is the times they give it and not the times they take it.

No it is not even though I like money it is not the main necessity. If you have money and dont know what to do with it then you will not know how to make yourself happy. Food clothes shelter and relationships are more valuable than money on any day. As long as you have those you should be happy, money just helps maintain those things.

Money is just a tool. Wealth is what we have. Wealth means we are healthy or we get some gifts from others, we can still communicate and breath and a whole lot more. It is wealth that we should focus on. Money does bring happiness and can make us go other places that can make us happy instead of staying at the same place and look at the non happy surrounding. Ok i read the article somewhere, thought i could share it with you

Si i think i need to explain it for me not for everyone else .
For me MONEY is NOT the main necessity to be happy . As you said .
First of all i'm a farmer the one of only things i buy is bread , oil and some cooking ingridiants , the rest i produce myself . I have 1/5 ton of potatoes and eat like every day but i like them .
So i need money for electricity yes its needed , but its not like i will die without it .
The main thing is that more money bring more happiness i think thats partly true .
I will be more happy with easier work and like 500$ per month (thats a fortune) but overall more will just not bring happiness anymore i mean its not like when someone have the money that they cant spend them doing or buying something for fun but when you get rich what meaning does money have its not like you were unhappy when you did not have them and i think lots of money bring lots of responsibilities and unsacurity (there are lots of people that kill for money) fear and lots of other things .
So i think there is thin line that goes : Enough money - more happiness and after More Money - less happiness .
Thats my view :)

Money can buy us food and everythng we need. It brings happiness to us mainly because all that every one dreams of having can easily be owned if we have so much money. But I don't think that our happiness depends solely on money. Many rich people aren't happy about their lives. Poor people are still surviving and are happy because they have all the love they need. They have families who genuinely love them. The poor people in the street who has no home survived until they were old, because they get used to this life. They think they don't need money to survive as long as they have some food to eat and they love and give importance to their life, it is already their happiness.

Money is just a mean. It doesn't guarantee anything emotionally. Happiness is how one feels. He is happy because his son has just graduated. She is happy because her baby girl just smiled her first smile. So many things that can make us happy with no relation to money. Rich and poor is subjective. If you have enough to eat and have excesses, you are rich. If you have a whole warehouse of rice but you still feel that you need to have more, then you are poor. Happiness is from the mind. Money is important, but it is not the source of happiness.

I certainly think that money brings more happiness because I know the lack of money yields sadness and frustration. This is why I want wealth and lots of it!
Many people consider money to be the root of all evil, and it very well may be, but I want a lot of it and that's why I'm here slaving on myLot so that I can have more finances!

Money is important thing in the life but it is up to limit, satisfaction is more important.
There is a saying "Money can give you a bed but not sleep". It doesn't mean that we have to stop working and be satisfied with whatever we has but we have to continue some effort which can bring good future for our self.

Money relieves some of the stresses in life, but really does not lead to happiness. I was just as happy and could find happiness in the same things in life when I had less money than I do now. Now I do not have the stress of figuring out which bill to put of paying. It really is not making me any happier, just less stressed.

I think many people are happy just the way they are, but are always looking for a better way of life. Many other life's revolve around making money. They see it as money = power. Many people want as much money as they possibly can get, so they can control elections and if someone or something gets in their way they can just buy them off. This way they can do what ever they want to make more money. Not to mention how much social status they get just from having a bunch of money. At the end of the day they are the ones who are going to have to live with themselves for the ramifications that it caused to get all that money. After all you can't take it with you when you die. The rest of us we just want things to be on an equal playing so we can all succeed in our own way. It is hard to do that when people are cheating the the system. I think Bill Gates and and Steve Jobs are prime examples of how to get wealthy the right way and helping out millions while they were at it. They were not destroying the Earth, screwing people over with false promises, and rigging elections for their favor. There is a reason why our world economy is where it is right now and that is because many people at the top are abusing the system. Everyone always talks about the poor abusing the system but look what happens when the top does. Either way it is not right and if our leaders are going to do it. Why would our leaders expect anything else from the rest of us? After all leaders lead by example.

hello,
yes, that is true because you can actually convert the money into food and clothes that you needed everyday. And I think that is natural to work for money and what you have said is true the more money in your pocket brings you more happiness because you can have everything and all you want.

If you have a great require for money, I think the more money more happiness. But if you not, money just a part of the happy in your daily life.Love, familiar affection and friendship and so on make you happy even if you have little money.
