Sun Umbrellas

Sun umbrellas are they over the line or it's prefectly normal? The sun umbrellas I am referring to are the ones for everyday use like walking the dog, on the beach etc. I do know that people who have skin conditions or are photosensitive usually use a sun umbrella to protect them from UV rays. For example, people will look at you funny in the west if you walk around with an umbrella up when it's not raining. In the East I've seen quite a few use one everyday. In conclusion, people shouldn't give you funny looks if you have an umbrella out on a sunny day it is the persons' choice on what they would like to do.
