hey friends i feel facebook is a waste of time sometimes not every time.
1. some people become friends to people whom they never even met and also not going to meet ever.
2. fake accounts cross the limits.
3. loss of your personal data like email id and phone nos.
4. why not use mylot for social networking when you can earn money over it.
5. everything you post is shared with millions of people whom you dont wanna share that thing.
6. addiction is bad of facebook, people wake up to update their facebook status.

I don't really think facebook is a waste of time. It depends on the person who is using it. Yes all of this factors you mention are true, but that doesn't really apply to all people. All of my friends are people that I have met and and my other friends are friends of my friends so I get to meet them on events like birthdays, shows, concerts. People may see may personal info but limited to my friends so that they contact me, and you are not obliged to put everything in your profile. Everything I post is shared to the people I want to share it with

Yes, I agree that Facebook is sometimes a waste of time, for others. But for some, Facebook is a blessing. It is because you can get in touch with your love ones (i.e. relatives, friends,etc) through Facebook; though they reside afar. You would feel like they're near you through those pics uploaded by them. And also, Facebooking makes more friends.

Yes sometimes but sometimes its very helpful in some reason like chatting with your family real friends or love one. well, its up to you if you'll gonna accept the invitation of fried request, if you know the person then accent it other if you don't know just ignore that person.

It is really true but people like it.
Most of the social networking sites such as Facebook are created to avoid bored time. I mostly uses it when I feel nothing to do (bored condition). but my sister uses Facebook even at her studying time.Actually Facebook affects ones studies. So i think that children's are not allowed to sue it.
What do you think ?

facebook is not waste of time but sometime when these type of things occur yes we say it is waste of time i think unknown friend request was the main reason behind this and share all your personal information with others and yes some people make misuse of your mobile number .so to prevent this use mylot in the place of facebook is good idea.

Oh this is very true.
Facebook really is a place where you can spend a long time without doing anything important just wasting your time.
so as I go on Facebook and do nothing if you want some just write to me I say but do not publish status for the rest of the time I write here.
But I do not think that Facebook can give us something simple people there are people who have nothing to do and really lose valuable time.

social networking like facebook is one way to communicate our family and friends far away from us. facebook is not responsible for those people who want to make some acct. failed and fake. its only depends on us how to manage our time in internet to normal offline life. some people like us join to other site like mylot.com while earning and good of this you meet some people even you dont see them tru this site.
