Soul mate does exist. But it's you who determine who your soul mate is. There is actually no specific characteristics to define a soul mate. I mean, as long as you meet a person which has characteristics that appeals to you, you are deeply attracted to him or her, while him or her having to be committed in your romantic relationship. Then this person may be your soul mate. Just a friendly advise, don't ever get influenced by love novels or talks by so called "love professionals" in fate, destiny and such. many of those are just nonsense.

A soulmate which is a derive from the most important thing called love, does exist. I actually don't think that there is Mr. Right or Mr. Wrong, because for me, every people that come and go in our lives are there to teach us something, whether it may be about love or life and sometimes, they are there maybe temporarily or for a lifetime. We sometimes look for the right person but often we fail to think if we, ourselves, is the right kind of person a person is looking for. So indeed, it should start within ourself. No such thing as perfect in this world, but we can be better human beings and when we love ourself, we will have lots of love to give to others.
