He is retiring! Thank the Lord. He has decided not to run for re election. Could it be the new redistricting in Massachusetts? I don't really care, I am just happy to hear it.

I'm kind of sad to see him go this way... I was kind of hoping for an investigation, indictment and a long prison sentence...that's how corrupt I think Barney is. I'm tired of seeing people like Barney screw up horribly for their constituents..the American people... while making a lot of money for themselves and their friends, and then "retiring" with no accountability/no punishment/no nothing! What still amazes me is how the people of MA continued to vote him in time after time??? But then they're doing it in CA with Pelosi, in NV with Reid, and if I had a few Republican names on my lips, I'd add them too. This is not just a Dems problem, but there's plenty of Reps that are just as despicable as Barney and I can't believe WE keep voting them back in. I know I'm voting them all out... I may keep my new Congressmen, but I'm watching him like a hawk. My Senators have to go...one is retiring... I'd like to see his net worth before and after becoming a Senator 20 some years ago. I'm betting he's one of the 1%!

Well if they are going to imprison Barney, they better imprison Newt Gingrich while there at it. So many hypocrites these days.

Hofferp, Great observations and very astute assessments. He is indeed the worst of the worst. I 100% share and concur with your sentiments. Spot on all around! "Despicable" is a euphemism when referring to this particular rat and the rest of those of his ilk.

I agree and if we have to drop them one at a time, so be it. As long as they are falling

This is a result of the TEA Party and their efforts to get conservatives into all levels of Government. As these elections at the state level start to impact some entrenched politicians through redistricting and loss of seats you will see more of the ruling class leave. All I can say is don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I agree. However the redistricting here in my state has totally jacked up the districts. One small town next to me is now in three districts!

It's amazing how many politicians would be making excellent moves, if only they'd retire.

He needs to be in prison for what's he's done. I want to see him wearing the latest style in prison wear, preferably bright neon orange. Buh-bye, Banking Queen!!
