India beat Westindies by 1 wicket in a thriller...

India won the 1st odi match in a tight and thrilling encounter .. India struggled to chase the 212 run total , but managed to reach it in the 49th over with 1 wicket left. India were 59/5 at one point, but rohit sarma(72) and jedeja(38) helped india to reach the target. In the end tail enders also played some good knock and scored the important runs for india. It was really a good thrilling odi match...both teams played superbly. So india lead the series 1-0

Both teams really played well . India managed to keep WI to a low total. Indian top order players failed but rohit and jedeja played a vital sold to take india to victory. Thanks to umesh and varun who played superbly without making mistakes. Any way india won the match

Ya both team played well. Indian bowling sounds good. Indian batting did not come up as expected. But rohit played a superb innings to win the match. jadeja, vinay kumar, and in the end aron and yadav played with full dedication to win the match.

India just about managed to win the match. It was interesting to see the match towards the end when Varun and Yadav were at the crease. A completely tense Varun was trying to advise a calm and composed Yadav. It really was comical, but the kids pulled it off!! Cheers! Ram

Yeah, definitely it was a superb thriller. Restricting West Indies at 211, I thought India could easily win this match. Evn at the beginning of Indian innings the situation remained the same but when India were down at 59/5 ther I lost all hope and thought India will easily loose this without a fight. But then Rohit,Jadeja and Vinay fought brilliantly and brought India agin in to the match, then again excellent performance from the last two batsmen, just a thriller.

India started badly, they lost their main 5 batsmen for 59 runs, I also lost my hope. As you said Rohit, jedeja & vinay played superbly. And finally some good performance from the 10th and 11th batsmen. The match was really thrilling.

It was just unbelievable stuff produced from the young indian team. Rohit was very much disappointed after the loss of his wicket, but tail enders batted till the end to ensure india's victory.
