Why do people overrate other people's external appearance or brand of clothes?

Some people are too particular when it comes to appearance. There is a saying "first impression lasts" that some people want other people to be impressed by their looks. That's the reason why people wants to look great with their physical appearance to impress others.

I think appearence or brand of clothes shouldn't affect the opinion of people about others. If you meet a person for the first time, you could be affected by his/ her appearence or clothes because of the first impression. Some people use the brands as an indicator of social status and I hate it.

For me because they get zealous so it is bad to do that need to not do it because in the eyes of Jehovah God things would be best in you.

Sometimes (in the case of mothers and daughters or friends), assessing other people's appearance is their form of caring for that person. many people want their loved ones to be presentable to the world and to be spared of mockery. Even though we are individual as we have our own tastes, there is a prescribed appearance at certain situation. There will times that the need to conform is necessary. External appearance is a critical factor when it comes to impression. People are always observing other people, an outward appearance is a way of assessing a person's character. Sometimes, having a branded clothes is not always about opulence; it's about reaping rewards or achievements. Many people feel that after a hard work or a good job, they feel they are entitled to a certain luxury.

i think it's not the "best brand of clothes that counts, it's that you have be aware of your appearance",when you hang out with a group of friends or dating someone, you willing to dress like a dull? girls should spend sometime,or just a tiny time on makeup thing or choosing cloths

It is important for appearance but most see it and this is not right yet all have been dnakvi.
