and how many? What have you learned from the experience?
I myself have lost two cell phones already. The first one was my first phone too, which was stolen from me in a bus while going home. The next one, I was walking home in our street and I remember to text somebody and again my phone was stolen from me quickly. The lesson I learned from these experience is that never use your cellphone in a public place or just hide it inside the bag while texting and always be alert with the people around you.
Do you have your own stories to share?

once I left it on top of my car and went inside school, back it was gone. I called my own number someone picked up and I could pick up my phone at their address.

I dont know if I learned something from it but what I always do is: deleting every sms I get or sent since it's of nobody's business what I write to whom.
Also I write down numbers elsewhere so I can find them back (also if I can't find my phone or it's broke)

Hi red!
I only lost a cellphone once. But it was very memorable because it was my first ever cellphone! I left it in a taxi. I was going over my things and I took out my cellphone and placed it in the seat and forgot to put it back inside my bag. My excuse is, I was still not used to having a cellphone so I guess in that moment, I forgot that I already have one.
Well, the lesson I learned is to be mindful of all the things that I take out of my bag. I learned to be extra careful of my things. And most importantly, I always look at the seat that I leave for things that I may have left. ^^

Long time ago my wallet was stolen in the bus stop. After that, I will keep alert and be careful when I go out. So I have never lost my cellphone yet. However, my mom and my husband both lost their cellphones. I hope they will not make the same mistake again.
I love China

It did happen to me that I lost my cellphone once. I thought I forgot it somewhere and that it's long gone by now in someone's hands. But then one day, a few days after I lost it, I was walking down my street when something sparkled my interest in the grass. It was my cellphone! I don't have idea how I lost it but I was so happy that i found it.

Yes you are right never use cellphone in public if isn't needed. Try to hide valuable things inside the bag especially cp coz there are lots of thieves outside. I also lost 3 cellphone one is taken by thief inside our house and two was lost dropped to anywhere. I bought some of them from my own salary and other is from my sister in italy. I love those things coz they have sentimental value. Now i bought another one and it is almost 2 years in my hand. It's a blackberry brand and i love it coz it came from my own earnings too and until now the good thing is it never repair yet..so better to takecare of cp or all valuable things.

I almost lost my cell phone. Due to my pocket size, I didn't realize it slipped out of my pants. Fortunately, my boyfriend was still in the cab (after I got off). Ever since, I have been paranoid about my items, not just my cell phone. Every now and then, I would make sure that I have everything with me.
Sometimes, I saw people hanging their cellphone around their neck using the neck strap but I didn't really like the idea. Thus, I will keep my cellphone in my bag.

It was one of the best phone I ever had. It was stolen from my room. I just woke up with windows open and to my surprised my phone was lost. I'm glad my father bought a second hand worth P800. When I graduated last March, my mother handed me an all new brand new phone. I was so happy ?I didn't even ask for it.
The worst situation when a phone is being stolen is starting a new number and saving all contacts from important people.

I did not ever lost any phones in my life. At first I was having a local phone so i did not care it much but still it is not healed by no one but now I uses to care my mobile much and more because it is a fresh one. I had bought my mobile little months before. So I used to have regular checking of my phone, whether it is there on my pocket.
What about you guys ?

yes one time! I lost it when I'm searching my umbrella because me and my mom were going to deliver our laundry to laundry shop.My phone was in my hand and it bothers me while im searching the umbrella so i put it down. I didn't know that I placed my phone in the laundry bag because I was so busy searching umbrella and I didn't know that I placed it there. I just remember that when I back home that after we delivered our laundry. so I quickly went to laundry shop and asked the new worker who received our laundry if she saw a cellphone in the laundry bag but she keep insisting that she didn't saw a phone then I came back home but Im surely that I placed my phone inside of my laundry bag. I keep calling my phone whole day and it still ringing and I tried and tried to contact my phone until day time that my phone was missing. In the evening i tried to call it back again but my phone cannot be reached. I really regret that time when i gave our laundry to the new worker in the laundry shop because the old worker there that used to receive my clothes is busy that time . so she cant give attention to my laundry then the new worker is not busy so i gave it to her. I back in the morning to laundry shop because i pick my laundry the new worker is not there and absent the next day when my phone is missing. the girl that I used to gave my laundry said that her co-new worker is look suspicious that time when I lost my phone. I really suspect the new worker in the laundry shop . But I can't do anything. so I just blame myself for being so careless. And I tell to myself that next it will never happen again. I just feel bad because that phone is new and gift of my friend to me who work abroad . and I tell him that I lost the phone he gave to me. He said that's fine I will buy you again and after a week that I lost my phone, I received new phone again from him ^^.

I never lost my cellphone but I know other family members of mine have lost and had cellphones stolen My mom, dad and brother have lost cellphones out in public. My dad did get lucky one time and someone found his phone at a store and called a number that was stored in his phone. So he got that cellphone back. My mom has a bad a habit of laying her cellphone down in various parts of the house. I always try to tell her to keep her phone in one place whenever possible and don't just leave it out in the open. We have people coming over our house visiting and you never know when someone might get desperate and steal it.

Nope, not for me. Till date, i have not lost any cellphones i owned. I'm always holding them tightly in my hands or i have them in my pockets. I'm sure if my phone is being snatched while i'm using it, that snatcher won't run far before being caught up by me.. haha I'm that careful with my belongings and i always have a bag with me, wherever i go, but my important stuffs are never inside the bag.. lol :D It's only a cover up

Unfortunately, Yes! It was not lost but it was stolen. Not just once but twice. The first time that my phone was stolen was that I was in a mall here in our place. The stupid me put my phone inside my bag where the thieves would be tempted to get it. The second time was that it happened our house, i mean our boarding house. I was cleaning on the other side of our house. I was confident enough that people in our house are trustworthy!

I lost my last cellphone. I don't know what happened. Maybe it fell from my pocket. I feel blessed that in our city I can use my cellphone in public places. I am glad that I have never experienced what you have experienced. Have a nice day!
