So, there I was. My curiosity getting the better of me, I started going through my list of MyLot friends. The more I went through the list, the more I found people who have not logged in for YEARS. Yes, I too had that status for quite some time myself. But I began to wonder if these friends have intention to log back in some time or is there a general lack of not closing out accounts one no longer uses. What do you think it is?

Years ago when they stopped paying I quite as well. I moved to other sites to try to earn money. I tried deleting my posts here but after a certain amount deleted they wouldn't let me do it anymore and I and no one else coudl even see my older posts. If I created a bunch of new ones I could see my old ones again but as soon as I started deleting the old ones they disappeared again. I just wanted a fresh start here I didn't want all those old posts on here for people to read but I wanted to keep my name. I am glad to be back here at mylot earning. Those people who used to be active here may have a different email now so won't know if they get comments and might not know mylot is paying again. It was thanks to a former mylotter commenting on one of my posts on personapaper that I found out mylot was back and as awesome as ever.

Well, I'm glad you're back! I quickly realized that M/L is not the way to make money. BUT - I so enjoyed the many discussions I had gotten into that I stayed just for the mental exercise. This place has been great for that! So, I guess I got paid afterall. Just not so much in cash. And that's why I'm back again. One of my friends here who kept me so intellectually simulated, is back. The joy of using my mind is soo rewarding. So I'm looking forward to more great discussions. Thanks for adding to that excitement!

I am sure that most of them have the intention of logging in back once more. It is just the way that life flows which has stopped most of us from doing things at the internet.
The demands of life is just too much sometimes it holds\bar us from doing lots of things which we would love to pour some hours into day in and day out of our lives.
May you have a good day, adi.

Yes, the demands are most likely why. But when I see that it has been more than 3 years since the last log on, I can't help but think that there is no intention of return. But not knowing anything more than what appears on my screen, I remain clueless. But truly, you have given me a great insight about something I take for granted.

Hi adrguy
Quite true. There are many who have kind of moved away from the site and do keep logging in just to keep the account active. There can be numerous reasons like occupied with other work, or even moving to a place where Internet connectivity is not that great... whatever.
But I will vouch for not removing these from the friends list... maybe when they return they dont find you as a friend any more... Also, the information is not stored on your computer or cell phone... and as such you shouldnt bother to remove... nothing much of a difference. But yes, you might have to search for many pages to find a particular friend - if you have a longer list and need to find a friend from your friends list.
