My friend sent me this article about a tatoo artist that had a cheating girlfriend. He decided instead of breaking up, he'd get revenge. So he got her tipsy, she signed a waiver and he tattoed a pile of poo on her back. See photo and article here http://early-onset-of-night.tumblr.com/post/13348728615/tattoo-artist-ryan-fitzgerald-from-dayton-oh-was Do you think she should win the lawsuit? I don't think she should bc she did 2 things wrong. 1- she cheated! 2- she signed a waiver before it was done. However I bet she will win since this was obviously not what she wanted. What do you think?

If she signed the waiver then I don't think she will win the case, she can only win if the waiver specified correctly what she wanted to be done.

yeah that is what I think too, but a lot of people win lawsuits now-a-days. I bet the lawyer will argue that she wasn't mentally up to signing a waiver and try to get the waiver thrown out. This will be an interesting one to follow

Provided he come up with those medical prove that she was mentally challenged by that time, then I have no problem with her winning the lawsuit. The guy didn't do the right thing.

I agree, he didn't do the right thing that is for sure. They probably can't prove she was intoxicated with any solid evidence, it will just have to be based on her testimony that she didn't know. Of course, if she makes the mistake to say she didn't READ the waiver, then she's really screwed.

First, I find this extremely funny, and I think he is a legend. Second, she cheated on him, I would probably do the same to her..And I don't think she should win the lawsuit, she did sign it, aaand she was wasted. Anyway, he is a legend, and she's gonna have poo all over her back for the rest of her life.

Oh yes, I am sure that even with the lawsuit he is getting tons of high-fives from his friends and people of the internet who hate cheaters. I am sure it won't be there forever, she will at some point get it covered up, turned into something else, or removed.

Imagine if that girl came to you and you are a tattoo artist and she says to you:"remove this s*it off my back!" I think I would piss myself from laughter. All in all I think she deserves it, I hate cheaters, and I hope no one wants to remove that thing from her back..

That would be a long way to justification. Since she signed the waiver- there is a 50-50 chances. Who want to have a tatoo like that anyway..

Lol noone! Which is why I think she has a chance at winning the case since it's obvious it was maliciously done.

This is a funny revenge.. I have read the article and saw the pic. It made me smiled for a while. Well, anyway, in my own opinion, I think, the girlfriend will not win the case for the fact that she had signed the waiver. Unless she could prove to the court that she signed it mentally not normal (e.g. someone forced her to sign or any other circumstances that the signing of the waiver is not her own decision) then the case would lead to a different direction.

Yep I am sure they are going to bring up that she was drinking and try to use that to prove she wasn't mentally capable of agreeing to anything. But that will be hard to actually prove so we will have to see where this goes.

I think she won't win because of the waiver. Also, as it says she wanted a scene from Narnia to be tattooed to her back, she might win. BTW it's an excellent idea for a revenge. Very creative.

Yes it's definitely creative! I hope this guy knows for sure that she cheated because that is a long way to go for revenge. I would like to know what the waiver actually said and if it says anything about Narnia, he will have to show how it relates to Narnia :-D

Wow, cool! well, if i was a tattoo artist, i might have done the same thing. i hate cheaters. he's rather cool about this, planning it all out carefully and calmly. I don't the consent was legal because the one who signed it was intoxicated, i think it's null and not reason enough. a lawsuit for that? she kind of deserved it, hehe, it's better than her being beaten down for cheating on her boyfriend. she would only have to bear the shame on her back. She will probably win, because this could also be a form of abuse though not a violent one.

I hate cheaters too. If you don't want to be with someone, just break up! It could be null but they will have to prove she was too drunk to sign. I do think she will win though, bc "cheating" isn't illegal so that won't even be part of the case.

drat, haha. they ought to make it illegal, that way more couples would be still together, and their kids wouldn't be so screwed up.

vivasuzi two wrongs will never add up to a right. she wromged him, and he got her drunk, a drunk will do things she would never have done sober, so now he messes up her back and what the hell did it change she still did wrong and he still did wrong? no she should win the lawsuit as thats an ugly thing he did to her, and itg changed nothing,. they still will not get together again. two wrolngs do not ever make a right.

I agree, what he did was definitely wrong- but certainly funny! I do think she might win on the basis that she was drunk. Also the judge may want to set an example that this isn't ok to get revenge on ppl.

I think she has grounds for a law suit. She didn't sign a waiver to have poop put on her back, I'm sure. Her cheating has nothing to do with this. I feel it is an assault, because he deliberately put something degrading on her back. She will have to go through painful process if she wants that removed or covered up in some way. That would be like your husband is a plastic surgeon, and he cuts cheater on your forehead instead of giving you a face lift like you wanted.

Well she didn't want the tattoo so I guess she will win the lawsuit because it was something he did to her even though she didn't want it. But yea maybe she deserved it because of cheating and all and it is very funny :P
