Hi cathzuya
Normally at my place, we dont get the latest hollywood movies on theaters and the DVDs are mostly pirated. Again, as I am from India, I mostly stick with the Bollywood Movies. But I like the English ones too.
The last few English movies were Inception, Alice, and The Proposal. (not sure about the dates and so these may be quite old ones) but I really liked the Inception and Proposal. Alice was a longer duration movie but as Bollywood movies are about 3 hours long, there wasnt any issue. But that didnt catch my attention.

hi there thesids. i'm not sure if Slumdog Millionaire considered as Bollywood but i love that movie. one great movie ever.
what about the Alice? is it some sort of bloody-action-packed movie? i just saw some dvd cover named Alice and the person from the cover seems holding a bloody bat. is it asian movie? it looks japanese to me though^^
i also saw inception. i thought it'll scare the hell out of me but it did not.
and i love The Proposal! (is it Sandra Bullocks' movie or am i wrong?)

Tx for responding back
The Alice (i dont know what I missed on the DVD - it was pirated again) but it is Alice in Wonderland and a newer version (maybe a remake). There is a little action if you call some fights as action.
Yes, The Proposal is Sandra Bullock and I loved the movie. I felt that it is the way the world is getting to... I mean people around use others to their benefits taking the advantage of being in a Superior Post but the differences were really great. Can be termed as a Romantic Comedy.
And I loved Inception the most. It is something quite interesting and much different from Horror Movies. Though it doesnt fall into that category. Loved De'Caprio in this one... And that reminds me - I have to see the Shutter Island too.
Transformers 3 didnt catch my interest as it seems they are all (the Trilogy) similar.
For Slumdog Millionaire - yes, there are two versions - some say it is bollywood but I dont understand how that gets true as most of the behind-the scenes guys are non-Indians and even the profits didnt come to India with the exception of AR Rehman who got the Oscars.
Any recommendations for me - anything on War or Sci-Fi?
