hi welcome to mylot first you should read mylot FAQ and guidelines so you would fully understand how it works.. here's the link http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx We earn here by participating in discussions, you can do that by starting your own discussions, responding to other discussions and writing your comments in other's response, you should keep in mind that you can also comment back to the responses from you own discussions because that will increase your earnings, and the most important thing is when you post something as much as possible make it a quality post/responses/comments. MyLot reward us according to the quality of our participation in discussions. There is NO set rate 'per post' and all of your participation in a 24 hour period is taken into consideration. That is why you won't see what your earnings were for a particular day until 24 hours later (activity for the previous day is usually updated mid-morning according to MyLot time, shown at the bottom of every page.) You can also earn by completing any tasks which you find suitable, by illustrating your discussions with appropriate and non-copyright images and by using the Search facility. Yes we do make a little money but the more you respond to comments the more you will make I read a lot first then decide if I am going to comment on something it is more of a social network just like you said something like facebook but there you don't get any momney remember all those pennies add up think of it as a piggy bank you are putting away small change and soon that small change will add up to big dollars good luck

Hey missy333, we have a couple things in common already. Our names are simular and we are both newbies here in mylot. I bet you are new at online earnings as well, just like me. I am lucky that my mom has been earning money online for several years now and she has guided me so I haven't wasted any time with scam sites. That is how I became aware of mylot and joined under my mom. I have also joined about 25 good survey sites that I earn on and that is where the majority of my online earnings come from. I don't have a lot of time to spend in mylot so my earnings are going slowly but I have learned something pretty important about earning here or any where online and that is consistancy. To earn money online you need to have the time to be participating consistantly, meaning every day. Just enjoy what you are doing and the money will come. The way you earn in here, which does take time is by starting New discussions like you have here, and by also going in and responding back to others discussions as well. Also when starting a New discussion such as this, it is important and helps with your earnings to go back in and respond back to everyone there as well. Just remember for best insight it is quality over quantity so try to post back with at least 4-5 lines without repeating yourself, and have Fun.

Well, I think by now you have your answer to the question so just will say hope you enjoy and make some nice friends. I like mylot and still learning as I go along. You are doing the right things, by creating a discussion and responding to people it does let them know you are willing to interact.
