Is it possible to meet a celebrity in person?

Have you ever thought, whether it is possible to meet a celebrity, whome you admire in person? If possible, then how? He will never come in contact with you. So, what is the way?

Of course we can meet them.I meet and see some celebrity here in person.Sometimes we see them accidentally like in the malls.Some are approachable but there are also snob.

I have recently started learning classical singing. There are some celebrities whom I adore and want to meet them personally. Because of the age it may not be easy for me to reach the top, but I have decided that one day, people will accept me as a singer.

Update. I have recently joined in a acting learning classes. Meeting B grade film artists. Got selected for a television telefilm. Although it is a 30 minutes episode, but really excited to work with those people, whom I have seen in the film. Tomorrow is the final take for the telefilm. Really excited.

I'm from Texas in the USA and I've met a country singer before. Met Neil McCoy a few times actually. And I've interviewed Brandon Rhyder before, although hes not a super celebrity yet. I've also met with Chuck Hopson a State Representative.
Of course, I don't admire any of these people though LOL.

Thanks a lot for the response. Actually I also do not run behind celebrities, but sometimes there is an inclination in the mind to mingle with them.
