My youngest, Aedrel will be turning 2 this December and because it will fall on weekday, we'll be celebrating it on Sunday before his day. It'll be a family get-away.
We'll hear the morning mass in Manila Cathedral. Then, will roam around the historic place of Intramuros. I'm planning us to ride in a horse-drawn carriage. We'll eat lunch nearby...
Afterlunch, will be heading to ocean park.
Then dinner in Mall Of Asia. I also want to try the Swensen's Ice cream there. My daughter asked if she may go inside the rink to skate. We'll see.
I hope my kids will enjoy the day. I think they will!
I will cook pansit in Aedrel's birthday for wishing a long, good life for him. And a good dinner for our family.
Do you prefer to celebrate your kid's birthday with a party? Or it is okay to celebrate it with your family dining-out?

The kids will probably most definately enjoy a birthday party. Your family get away sounds amazing though. I know your kids will have lots of fun no matter what you do you sound very creative when it comes to making fun activities.

I think it will be nice when we have both the things. I will give all the family members including my son's friends a treat and I will also take my family to my son's favorite place. I think this will be the one of the best gift I can give him.
What do you think ?

Hello Lhenni, a happy birthday to your son Aedrel. I don't have a children right now because I think I'm still to young for that but I have siblings as young as your son. My little sisters birthday was last nov 27, and we had a party at home. We prepared food and drinks for our guests and it was very tiring but it was fun. Something that you prepare seems rewarding when people like it, so if you have time to cook and prepare I would suggest a party at home :)

That would be great.
I always prepare to cook for us.
It is cheaper thu a bit laborious.
My kids loves my cooking and they are proud to invite their friends and say- it's my mom who cooks every food. :)

For me congratulations for the things would be in your life have a baby but celebrating birthday is not doing in our family because it is a pagan form of worship so not to it.

We're alike in doing all our best... and effort... and all... for the sake of them. What else they will ask for... for sure they are thankful to have mom like us.
Cheers for us, being a loving mom to our kids!

Wow, you are really thoughtful for your kid's birthday. I'm sure that they will love what you planned. Celebrating birthday with a family dining-out is not a bad idea. However, kids may like the other one more. So, I guess you should somehow dig what your kid prefer, a party or something else.

Hi there!
Last year we celebrated his birthday with a party. But now, I prefer for a family bonding elsewhere. He's just turning 2 and my decision was came from his siblings *lol... His ate (sister) and kuya (brother) were the most excited for the get-away... as in it's their day! *lol...
Someday he can make my mind when he grows up! I just wish him to be a good and smart boy!
Happy MyLotting squallming!

Wow, that's so cool. Please do extend my birthday greetings to Aedrel. :-) I bet your going to have a wonderful day with your family. I love kids and I like to have my own in the near future.
I would say it depends on your situation right now. I mean being practical is a good thing. I celebrate my birthday with a splash if I have money and I was able to prepare for it ahead. And if not, I just go to church and have a simple eat-out with my family. :-)

Thank you!
Yes, it all depends on a situations. I opted to celebrate that day just us. Isn't it sweet?! :p
My friends and relatives are far from our place and if i'll have a party for Aedrel, I think, maybe they won't come.
Well, we can make Aedrel happy on his birthday. That's for sure *lol
