Psychological explanation behind religious beliefs...??

Religious/spiritual experiences happen, this is fact, this does not prove God. My theory is that the supreme power/ God or whatever you want to call it, is in another dimension because there are several dimensions around us, yet we can only see one. When someone has religious experience, chemicals in brain are released which allows the individual to see beyond our dimension, much like a sixth sense and to interact with God. This seems like it makes sense, since we do not know about all the chemicals in brain. What do u think?

I never do practice religious believes but its true that those have some effects which rarely related to religion. My humble opinion, no offense meant.

I don't have a sixth sense and never feel such a supernatural experience directly. But I do believe that there is a power who rules everything on this universe. So that all can go on smoothly.
