Planchet

I have a very funny memory related with this Planchet thing, once when I was in hostel we used to be involved in so many pranks and silly things, once someone gave an idea that if we use Planchet, we can contact spirits and they will tell us the examination questions. It spread in hostel like fire in jungle, now in every room of our hostel after the dinner, students used to practice on Planchet for 2-3 hours (at least ) It was a good way of time pass and a lot of fun, the way we used to concentrate, not even a mosquito could have come for that. After a week when we got tired and bored of it, we planned that spirits will contact us only after midnight and we will have to concentrate on it together so on one of the weekend days we (approximately 100 students) went to the top of the hostel building and all of us tried together but nothing happened but I can't explain the fun I had at that time, thanks for reminding me of that moment, I still can't stop laughing.

I don't beleive that spirits come through them. I beleive that they are moved by the subconscious movements of the group using them. it's a tool to access subconscious knowledge, not a means of contacting spirits.
