Revenge TV Series, has anyone seen it?

I have been following at least ten television shows that I find appealing and one of these is the recently aired Revenge starring Madeleine Stowe and Emily VanCamp. I haven't read the Count of Monte Cristo but they say it has been based on this novel. It's about a girl whose life was destroyed when she was young and after many years went back to the place where it started to exact revenge on the people who destroyed her family. I love the dark theme of the show.

I read somewhere it is roughly based or inspired by The Count of Monte Cristo. The fact that they gave a preview of what will happen near the end in the first episode makes you want to know how that happens. This should be an interesting show, I hope they can keep the suspense until the last episode and hopefully be popular enough for another series. It has a lot of actors who have been on other shows that I liked so I hope it works out.
