The "lazy date" discussion of mine was sadly deleted. Due to the reason that it was a poll question. I actually love that discussion of mine. I was just voicing out what I felt that time and describing how I want my lazy date to be. And out of the blue I kinda added this question, "What is your ideal type of date?". Well, my bad since it's obvious that it's a poll question. hihihi. Anyways, every mistake has a learning lesson right? Have to be more careful from now. Well, do you have the same experience like mine? Please do share them so I can prevent myself from doing other mistakes too. Thank you! wink*

I had some discussions deleted as well. It would serve to be a learning experience for all of us that there are things that they don't want us to talk about or something. don't worry, there are still alot of topics you can think of, and you can start a new discussion with it. Have a good day cheers

again I say if you just read the guidelines and learn the rules then you will know what not to do much easier then just experimenting, whats so hard about reading the guidelines?

You indeed are right. We can still make another discussion and there are millions of topics we can choose form. We just have to be creative. We may make mistakes but there's always a next time. wink*

*sigh too! I replied in there... my effort :( I remember too, one of my discussion was deleted due to redundancy... I just posted a discussion, "Haloween is just around the corner",... I forgot to add picture... then, I decided to post again, with the same subject to add picture... and the first was deleted the other day :( Many responded to my discussion which was deleted... and I'm very disappointed... yes, to me of course for not well-read the rules. Lesson learned: Not be ignorant! hahaha hello there!

hi as newer comes here mylot admins give you the key to log into 'their guidelines so its always a mistake not to as there you will read the dos and the DONTS of making discussions. learn those rules and you will be much less likely to lose a discussion or a response on someone elses rule breaking discussion. its easy to learn them and saves one some nice earnings too.knowing the rules will help you in making good discussions.

silverfox: You are from Jamaica-- it is a small country-- but per capital income is very good as compared to a big country like India. What is the main source of industries and income? What are its exports and imports. Good to see you here. yes. we learn from experience. I am careful while starting a discussion nowadays. good day.

If what is stated in wikipedia is JM dollars then the position of india and jamaica is more or less same. India also $1000 approx.

Hi... I think this is the first time your discussion get deleted. I can recollect how many times my discussions get deleted. Days ago, one of my discussion got deleted where i got more than 30 responses. So, its genuine in mylot as we have some bindings. Just try to post some good discussion and dont start a discussion which is already posted. Best of luck.

rakenkarenne: See , you came, you posted, you left. but your discussion remains and stays as a guide for others. People reading this will understand that they should not start discussions which are poll nature. In fact recently one of my discussions was also deleted for the same reason. No regrets. learn from experience. I do not know why you are not logging in nowadays in mylot. may be you got employment and cannot allot time for this. good day.

I have a lot of deleted answers too because the topic it was under was deleted, I can't even remember how many times I received that notification. I think I have one discussion that has been deleted too. I was also very new here that time and was not so fully aware of all the guidelines. Recently my answer to a discussion was deleted too because I violated something that was clearly written on the guidelines, that I actually never thought that I violated it. But when I thought about it after getting the notification, yeah I did violated it and is trying to be careful now. It's a good thing that we are learning from this mistakes.

I guess it's normal especially for the newbies like me. Or like you before. The guidelines are not that hard but sometimes we just forget. Thank you for sharing. At least it's not only me. :-)

Yup right, I am certain that every members have violated and made mistakes in the past too. Especially newbies. But I can also see that even the old members may have deleted discussions, I have noticed some of them because sometimes I give responses to those topics.

hi rakenkarenne wouldn't it be easier to just read the guidelines and learn what the dos and dont's of discussion making are than just groping in the dark hoping what you write does not get deleted? I have only had two deleted and both of th em were due to me and the other person getting into an argument and causing a flame war. so for one thing do not insult someone even if they insulted you first.instead keep your cool and hit the report button and report them to mylot admins. this will save your discussion and probably cause a response by the insulter to be deleted.
